Club Mahindra Madikeri Resort and SPA, Coorg

It had good infrastructure but needs more facilities for tourist / customer to commute with in the complex during rain i.e more umbrellas , cars , etc

I was NOT given the GST invoice during check out and even after a month of departure . Very poor service with respect to handling problems at the reception , sometimes no internal telephone work , putting the tourist in problems of communication with reception / restaurant.

We liked the lavish breakfast, spacious and comfort of the bed.

The bathrooms were filthy, there was no AC, check-in takes extremely long. The entertainment area was not maintained to global standards. The pics we saw when we book were not the same when we checked-in and were shocked to see the room. Food is EXTREMELY expensive.

Too noisy; Natural cricket noises from the woods are loud but acceptable; However noise from daily events (music/ trivia nights etc.) were too loud even from the cottages; Check-in process was inefficient; Too many front desk clerks with focus on selling their membership/ activities rather than providing a good check in experience

The trees and the birds, and flowers. Nature...

The food made my stomach upset. The rooms are comfortable but not sound proof. We could hear the neighbors at midnight talking in their balcony. We could also smell their smoking in our room, so did not had a pleasant sleep. The umbrella got stolen from our car when it was taken by the valet.

The Property and the location, yes we loved the rustic look and the whole property especially a walk around the resort is an awesome experience mostly coz of the Geography and the way its placed.

1) Dining Facilities 2) The Room was spacious but it looked run down and not up to the level of a five star at all, it looked more like a Air B&B. 3)Staff is not very much up to the point they looked really not motivated. 4) Everywhere we ask - Only for" Mahindra Members " we might as well stay in a hotel next time

The food was good. Sushma and Rohith at the reception were pretty helpful

The buggy staff didn’t stop inspite of it raining heavily. They even saw we a small kid with us and didn’t respond to us. The house keeping staff was pretty laid back and weren’t that responsive. The rooms were full of moisture and mold. We understand that the property being in the middle of the jungle moisture would be there but the hotel could at least put in moisture absorbents in the room they barely cost Rs.150 per box on Amazon . The room was smelly and night the smell of fungus was so bad that neither me nor my 2year old could sleep. With one heavy rain our bathroom walls were wet when we didn’t even use it. Level -2 was horrible and a nightmare. We then requested them to shift us to the ground floor room which was slightly better. Also because there were no mine leak water and we had to drink the so called treated water from the tap itself, my daughter got loose motions. We went for my daughters 2nd birthday and it was a nightmare holiday.
