Barceló Tenerife

Grounds and pools are lovely and there are plenty of sunbeds available. Breakfast buffet was good although same old problem of everything being lukewarm and not hot. You come across this is many big hotels. Also, the hotel is a little tired and needs updating, cracks in walls and chipping of wooden furniture in the rooms and bathrooms etc. no tissues in the room, only received 2 bottles of complimentary water, bathroom towels were thin and tired and bedding was frayed, not 5 star standard. I’ve been to plenty of 4 stars that were in much better condition. We enjoyed our stay though, it didn’t affect us but was noticeable and needs addressing.

Just returned from an relaxing break at Barcelo Tenerife. Big thank you to the 3 Daniels who looked after my husband (who uses a wheelchair) and escorted him back to our room after each meal in the buggy. Hotel is on a hill so everything is downhill but their service enhanced the holiday.

I went here for a weeks holiday, and had the most wonderful time. The reps, including Ivan, Maria, Angelique, and Mario were brilliant, and made the classes of Yoga, Pilates, and Acqua Aerobics brilliant fun. I will definitely be going back.

We would like to share our heartfelt thanks to Maria and Angelique from the kids club at Barceló Tenerife. They were truly outstanding throughout our stay. Their warmth, patience, and positive energy made our child feel instantly comfortable and excited to join the activities every day. Both ladies went above and beyond to create a fun, safe, and welcoming atmosphere. They paid attention to every detail, encouraged creativity, and made sure each child felt included and happy. It was clear how much they genuinely care about the kids, and their dedication made a huge difference in our overall holiday experience. Thank you, Angelique and Maria, for your kindness, professionalism, and the wonderful memories you helped create. You are a credit to the resort, and we deeply appreciate everything you did for our family.

Fantastic room, food and entertainment. Exactly what we were looking for. Very chilled and relaxing. Pool bar staff J Freddy, Stiven Muriam and Fillipo & Animation team fantastic. 👏🏼👏🏼 Will be back.

We loved the friendly staff, especially Jose Ramon who does amazing cocktails and is so welcoming. He works in the b.lounge/lobby lounge. Made us feel special 😃 😊

This hotel is fabulous. Everything was first class. The rooms are large with jacuzzi baths. The beds are sumptuous with thick mattresses. No waiting to go home for a good night sleep. The food was very good. The staff in the restaurant are attentive and pleasant. They are constantly checking the displays to ensure supply. Loads of cava out at breakfast time. Loved the sweets at the desert table a great touch. The bars were great. Table service and nothing is a problem. Entertainment in BLounge was fab a few nights. Other nights a bit sketchy. The pools were great and the pool toilets are very clean. All in all my new favourite hotel. The staff are all fantastic. From maids, waiting staff, bar staff and reception. It is a definite hit.

This is a really lovely place to stay. Lots of swimming pools and space outside. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of steps to get from the rooms in the Reception building to the restaurants, but there are slopes to allow for easier walking and for wheelchairs and pushchairs as well as a fascinating tunnel! Staff were helpful and welcoming. Food in the Buffet restaurant and the Breeze snack bar is excellent. Nice walks along the coastal paths to Los Abrigos and Golf del Sur where there are nice shops and restaurants to visit. As it is very close to the airport, it is very accessible from there, but the down side is that there are flights coming in every 5 - 10 minutes during the day. Would highly recommend the guided tour of the nature reserve - our guide was excellent - and the Tunnel Experience where the history of the island is displayed. Not too expensive either.

María and Luca were amazing and entertaining- great experience and good fun !! We enjoyed the range of chocolate and wines , and had great conversations with other couples

Would highly recommend staying here! Alturo's guided tour of the reserve was fantastic and made me fall in love with Tenerife's incredible geological history. The service from all staff was outstanding, Viktor in the Royale bar was brilliant and went above and beyond. A truly beautiful hotel
