Aree Tara Resort

hotel is not that 4 stars but what we pay what we get many different with photos showing quite far from beach. the rest ok ok. rooms are very small rooms and not much space indeed.

The hotel uses nicer pictures than the real hotel and rooms. The hotel is older and not that close to the beach. The staff is nice, but not really helpful...

We stay there for 3 nights started on 10th-13th November 2014, and we are in Honeymoon mood! Room decorations for honeymooner was simple but its enough to make us feels lovely. The staff very helpful and smile all the time. They allow us to charge our power banks due the socket in the hotel were not same with ours. Wifi only at lobby area, but it is doesn't matter as we are in honeymoon mode, so just keep away yr gadget once in a while :) The air-conditioner and the power supply seems having problems during our 2nd night stay..the air-conditioner shut down in sudden in the middle of night, and we feel warm to sleep that night...thus we expect this problem can resolved as soon as possible, but it takes ard half an hour to 40 minutes to resolved it. Conclusion, we have a pleasant stay during our honeymoon. :)

the hotel quite new and the room is spacious. the staff helpfull to give information about night market.

Walking distance to hotspot but its abt 15mins walk... Bed is superb comfortable but have to tolerate with the uninvited guest...ants! Tv remote control is malfuction. I stayed 2 days...first day the toiletries are imcomplete..low quality toiletries anyway. Small swimming pool... Lousy breakfast..

Overall it was a pleasant stay at Aree Tara. Location was pretty accessible to main hot spots of Ao Nang. The staffs were nice, helpful and polite. They were nice enough to upgrade my room from superior to a deluxe one for free. Room was clean and spacious only thing missing was toothbrush in the washroom. One bad pointer is that that theres no free wi-fi in the room and upon purchasing, one ID is entitled for one user which shouldn't be the case.

The staff were lovely and friendly. Hotel needs an upgrade, i saw a cockroach in the reception and there were ants in the breakfast room. walls were thin. Breakfast was ok only. Ao Nang is lovely i would return but stay somewhere else. The pictures online are not reflective of the state of the hotel. It was cheap and we had a good holiday. No wi fi was a bit of a pain too.

Did not get room with pool view although requested for it. But they made up our room with flowers & flower petals.

Decent hotel. Good location.
