Derby Station Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

On-site parking, our parking fee was waived when we registered the car, but I don't think that's common practice. Italian restaurant next door that does takeaways (very nice pizza). Our room (at the back of the hotel) was clean and had everything for a night's sleep, like a bed. The shower was fine too, although I prefer a screen rather than a curtain. Breakfast was in sister hotel next to the train station (2 min. walk). They couldn't quite keep up with the appetite of the guests. I had to wait 15 mins for a croissant, but when I finally got it, it wasn't fully baked. Nice coffee though and the cooked breakfast was ok.

Everything was superb! Is the perfect hotel for staying in Derby! It's very close to the train station and the Intu shopping centre! No faults.

Bathroom shabby. Plug sockets can't fit plugs that have cables coming out of bottom because they are too close to the bench

Clean and good service

The propert was excellent value for money. The provision of tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board was brilliant. The place was spotless and the bed was comfortable. What more can you want from a budget hotel? The only problem I had was that the window catch in my room was broken, it was open when I arrived, but once I had forced it closed, it would not open again. I am sure this is something that will be fixed,.

You got what you paid for. We did find the room comfortable, but there are some downsides I have to highlight. A little fridge would be nice to cool down our drinks, there are a lots of room for it. We appreciated the variety of hot drinks but we could enjoy some decaffeinated coffee as well. Al together we have satisfied. But I only give 3 stars.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Glad to see they have a clean/dirty towel system.

The drinks were expensive £11 for 1 pint of beer and a rosea spritzer £1 for dash of lemonade ?

It was ok smell of curry from outside very strong.Shower nice and hot but not much power wants a descale and betted head. Wall paper coming off in bathroom. Overall not bad but we got it cheaper glad it was not full price.
