Derby Station Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Bedding hadn't been changed on one of the beds and things from a previous guest still in the bathroom

Rooms in need of a little TLC but overall clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the Hallmark Hotel opposite very nice although a trip over a busy road may not suit some, provision of a ‘grab and go’ breakfast at the Hallmark Inn is a good idea though.

My room overlooked the main road so it was noisy at times when the window was open. I needed to have the window open because of the heat. It was a bit strange having to cross the road to the sister Hallmark Derby Midland Hotel for breakfast. It was okay on a warm sunny morning (and the breakfast was good) but I wouldn't fancy it on a wet winter's morning.

We always stop here when we have something to go to at the uni and have said we will now use this as our base when we meet up in the future. It is spacious, easy to find and car parking is fab

i love the Halmark

Only a few steps from Derby railway station and walkable distance from the Into Derby city center shopping mall. Convenient for exploring Derby and surroundings. Good size rooms with all facilities and a nice clean bath with hand showers. The breakfast is served in a sister hotel opposite to this one, which is nice as you get to see two hotels for the price of one!

Basic accommodation no real facilities ie bar/ restaurant within hotel/inn, had to go to sister hotel across the road for that. It was a bed with bathroom. The area did not have a great deal near the Hallmark Inn the bars and restaurants that were nearby do close reasonably early. We were there for World Superbikes at Donington therefore we would be back after racing finish thus not allowing enough time for getting back, washed and changed to go out for something to eat before places started to close.

Very good value for money and great location

Another great stay at The Hallmark. Check in was fast & friendly. The only downside to our stay was having to pay £8 each night for parking! Our room was spotless.....couldn’t have been cleaner! Yes, room could have done with a refresh on decor here & there but nothing dreadful. Everything you needed was in the room. Pleasant walk in the sunshine over to the Midland in the morning. Greeted by the lovely Maggie who seated us for breakfast in the dining room. A really good choice of breakfast items. Great cooked brekkie. We’ll be back!!
