Derby Station Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Quite dated. Clean but shabby. Breakfast in separate building

Convenient location with on site parking but chargeable. Rooms average sized. Should have been told breakfast is not on site but at nearby sister hotel on Expedia website.

Was annoyed having a£8 car-parking charged for overnight stay when it wasn't disclosed during booking. I think this is typical industry practice and should be stamped out. Within minutes of entering the hotel expecting to start off with a positive relationship it feels like being mugged.. Main light in room didn't work but after reporting it, it was fixed straight away so pleased with service. Staff very kind and helpful. Also I was later informed that the car parking charge was waived so overall can't complain - perhaps this was related to the light issue. Breakfast over the road at the Hallmark Midland Hotel was good quality in nice setting.

I like the atmosphere, the rooms were clean and staffs very helpful and room service good.

Overall the staff were friendly and i had a peaceful night's sleep for noth nights.

All very comfortable and accessible for travelling.

Good value for money . No facilities but clean . Rooms needing a bit of an update

The was no air conditioning the car park was charge we had already decided that we were going elsewhere for food but there was no facilities for that actually within the building.The rooms are very dated and not the cleanest.Not welcoming much.I sated there two years ago and was satisfied this time not so.

Location was good. Unhappy as I had booked a family room with a double bed and a single, and we were given a room with 3 single beds.
