The room wasn’t clean, it was smelly. Dirty sheets, no towels,

Jusk ok for the price but really dated and need furbishing.Stayed for 3 nights (Room 218 and 220). Booked family room (tripple) through booking.com and was confirmed but on arrival I was told that the family room is not available. Bad points :Stains on stairs , bed sheets and stinky bathroom.Floor is sticky and no floor mat provided. The rooms comes with basic breakfast but nothing to die for and can give it a miss. Dont expect tours and transport arrangement .Pricy too when compared to other vendors.Entrance to hotel is a small dark alley , no lighting and can be scarry. Good points :Reception staffs were helpful and efficient for check in and check out. Pool and garden ambiance is good .Just 5 minutes walk to Kuta Beach. Massage by the pool available on request from 10am to 6pm Cafe is by the pool (but limited menu)

Pretty good but breakfast not great

The pictures make this place look great but the reality is far different. Cool if you are keen to sleep in dirty bedsheets covered in others bodily filth, no towels, filthy room, bathroom full of hair and mould, mattress was like concrete blocks, no facilities, air conditioner not working, staff extremely rude and dismissive. The pool is OK, access on floors other than ground is terrible. There were dirty dishes left on the floor in the hallways that were not from that evening, they were piled high. Booked 3 rooms and problems were the same across all 3.

Hotel staff were the plus to this experience, all very polite and attentive. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing due to the stains on the sheets and the mold in the bathroom. The lighting was also very poor which was a big thing for my husband as his eyesight is challenged. The pool (although we didn’t use it) looked amazing and was used by many guests. The breakfast was perfect!

The staff and surrounding gardens are very nice. The pool was enjoyable but the lounge chairs need to be updated. The cleaning staff need to be taught to how to clean properly. The bathrooms need a good scrub and properly disinfected before every new visitor. The breakfast included was very good.and the dinning room was clean and staff friendly. .

I would like to say we have stayed at Bali Sandy four times in the last five years and have always been happy with the resort in all aspects. This time we were taken to our booked and paid for “Classic Delux” room on the ground floor. I questioned the staff member re the room due to its poor condition and he said that’s definitely what you are getting and it’s “Classic Delux”. I know that’s incorrect as I am aware of the rooms in the hotel that are this standard as they have been renovated over the past couple of years and that’s what we always pay extra for. I asked him to please move us to the renovated rooms we usually get but he just shrugged his shoulders. The bathroom was a filthy disgrace with a bath/shower so bad I would not use it with out wearing flip flops. Shower curtain was covered in black mould as were the tiles, toilet filthy, water splashed on my feet through leaking drain when the sink was used and taps were all rusted and loose. Day two the sewerage smell permeated the room so they left a can of air freshener. Night two we both woke at midnight to what sounded like a monster trying to rip the ceiling down. I am assuming an infestation of rats. After that we found alternate accomodation for the remaining eight nights and moved from the hotel. When I checked out the man at the front desk just looked at me when I said we were moving due to the bad condition of our room. He then said no refund for next 8 nights as we had paid online.

Bad points - Stairs only. No elevator for luggage. Difficult to get clean towels for room and pool. Dirty bathroom I bought bleach and cleaned it myself. No fridge in room. Staff had very limited English making communication difficult. On check out stated that final bill HAD to be paid in cash as no card facilities. Wifi was often not working for hours at a time. Good points- Staff friendly. Breakfast decent. 2 large bottles of water to room each day. Air conditioner worked well. Nice view. Nice pool. Nice balcony. Close to shopping and markets. Meals cheap and tasty. Massage service reasonable price and convenient.
