Michelangelo Resort and Spa

We are leaving tomorrow after 10 days. Wonderful vacation. Amazing pools, fantastic food, clean large rooms. The best thing is the staff (Alket-Hanry-Lambros-Ektoras). The only thing we didn't like was the rocks on the beach, but the sea was crystal clear

My partner and I (22,24) can not fault our holiday here. Food/drink - food was lovely and varied every night. We had two meals at the Mediterranean and Asian food restaurant which was included with the all inclusive package. We ate lunch at the poolside snack bar which filled us up during meals. The evening bar made amazing cocktails and by the end of the week the staff knew what we were drinking and bought it over no questions! Pool/beach - pool had plenty of sun beds. We did get up at 7:30am to reserve beds as it can be a struggle going down at peak times. The beach had plenty of beds and a bar too so you didn’t have to go back up to the main restaurant. You could change your pool towels daily down in the spa too. Entertainment - there was varied entertainment each night with dancers and singers. A highlight for us was the Greek dancing and they got everyone involved. Room - the room was modern and clean. The bed was made every day along with fresh towels. Although it is a family resort we never felt surrounded by kids and always catered for as a couple. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Beautiful views, clean,.modern hotel but no way this is a 5 star hotel. Food choice and other services very limited, almost no choice for vegetarians.

We had an amazing holiday. The staff were all so welcoming and attentive and a credit to the hotel the owners should be proud of their staff. We arrived at 2.20am due to flight delays and were met with bottles of water and bags of fruit and rolls… much appreciated. The food choice at breakfast and evening meals (we were half board) was really good. Our room was cleaned everyday and the cleaner we had (rooms 1913 & 1914) was lovely and always smiley. View from balcony amazing. Loved doing yoga every morning. The large Infinity pool or the short walk to the beach were perfect. We went as a family and enjoyed our week , wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back. Thank you x

Swerve the beer. It’s supposed to be Alpha - 5% , more water in it than most hoses in the UK right now. Funny how they don’t tell you Jet 2 or the hotel themselves that they add a good amount of water to the drink. Sadly for me I have another week of having to buy decent liquor.

The Michelangelo Hotel offers some genuinely positive aspects — the views are lovely, and the rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained. There is air conditioning, which was definitely appreciated during the hot weather. However, the overall experience doesn’t live up to a 5-star standard. The food selection was very limited, especially for vegetarians, and there was no coffee shop, pastry station, or entertainment available — things you'd usually expect at this level. The atmosphere in communal areas felt quite bare and lacking in warmth or character. Staff were polite, but the service wasn’t particularly attentive or proactive. While the hotel looks the part in terms of design and cleanliness, the experience felt closer to a decent 3- or 4-star stay rather than true luxury. A pleasant place in some ways, but not somewhere I’d return to unless improvements are made to the food offering, amenities, and overall hospitality.

I was genuinely surprised that this hotel is rated as 5 stars, as it falls significantly short compared to all other 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in before. While the hotel is modern, clean, and boasts beautiful views, that’s unfortunately where the positives end in terms of luxury. The food was of good quality, but the selection was extremely limited – certainly not what I’d expect from a hotel claiming 5-star status. There were no signature restaurants, no variety, and no culinary experiences that make you feel you’re somewhere special. Equally disappointing was the complete lack of amenities typical for a 5-star resort. There was no evening entertainment, no coffee shop, and no pastry shop – things I’d normally take for granted in a hotel of this rating. The service also didn’t reflect a 5-star standard. It felt like the basics were covered, but there was no sense of personalised or luxury service. In short, this hotel might suit someone looking for a clean, simple, quiet place with nice views – but if you’re expecting a true 5-star experience, this isn’t it.

Currently 8 days into a 10 day stay so an ideal time to put on a review about the hotel. For those that have said this is not 5 star ⭐ please let me know where you have stayed in the past !!! What is 5 star ⭐. Well to my family it is much more than the building ( which is amazing by the way). A holiday for our family is what we feel and experience. The staff play a massive part for us and the staff at this hotel are just amazing. From the management down they are all so conscious about how much you are enjoying yourself. Each staff member no matter their role seems to have been trained to take your wellbeing personally. I’ve never seen this in a hotel before but they are like a family. The food is really good , and unlike other 5 star hotels we have stayed in where they offer far to much choice, they offer quality, which we much prefer. As an example they had ribeye steak 🥩 3 lunch times freshly good by Aris, who I must point out as one of the nicest members of staff we met. He is the omelette guy, an important role in any hotel as it’s the first face you see in the morning. His omelette's are so nice and made with the biggest smile 😃 you will see. This really starts the day with a happy feeling. I have sat here trying to think of one thing to balance my review, but seriously as I sit by the most beautiful infinity pool looking out over the sea I just can’t think of a single reason to give.

Great location with a bus stopping outside and fantastic sea views. The only thing that let the hotel down was the rooms. It was windy and the wind blew through the rooms, meaning most of our party couldn't sleep. Housekeeping was also poor with soap/shampoo etc, not being replaced and the incorrect number of towels being left.

My girlfriend and I recently visited Michelangelos for our first holiday together and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Our room was stunning, as were the views from the hotel out to sea. The food was a delight and the atmosphere around the hotel was ideal for couples. We were also hugely impressed by the staff, they were willing to help with anything and always had a smile on their faces. We’re planning to come back next year and can’t wait to return.
