Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg

No Restaurant

This hotel is advertised as the stunning place on the river which it is not. The casino is on the river & the hotel is up the hill across the street. The hotel smelled terrible, was dirty, didn’t have the option to get snacks or drinks on site. The room was worse. I have a two queen bed room. When we sat down on one of the beds it flipped up. The bed was broken. I told the check-in & they didn’t seem concerned at all. The toilet leaked water & the room smelled like mildew. The only thing that worked was the ac.

There was a woman that was yelling all night. She woke me up 4 times during the night. Someone was smoking in the elevator. The city of Vicksburg was very run down. There was the smell of smoke and weed throughout the city.

Was not attached to the casino. It is about a 5 minute walk to casino. Food options are limited in the area. Staff was absolutely wonderful.

There was pubic hair in the jacuzzi tub drain. No hot water in the shower. Smelt like old stale cigarettes. When we first checked in we had booked three jacuzzi king suites. They only had two booked even though the receipt showed three. The front desk manager told me there was nothing that could be done, until I lost my mind and then boom four jacuzzi suites became available. The hotel isn’t even with the casino it’s across the street and their is no shuttle or transportation to and from

The website was deceiving because it is not part of the casino nor easily accessible to. It is a car drive away. The room smelled and was very run down with headboards falling off the wall. Shower leaked and sheets had cigarette burns in them. Very disappointed.

I love staying here. It always has great customer service and very clean.

No shuttle to casino. No restaurants at the actual hotel. Asian restaurant was truly awful. Rooms, at best, were adequate. No handicap rooms.

Cheap, dirty hotel room. Beds were very hard, lamp shades stained, tub dirty. It was fine for just an overnight stay, but wouldn’t stay here again.
