Pomeroy Inn and Suites Chetwynd

Hotel was good but is starting to get rundown, continental breakfast was good and concierge and hotel staff was extremely friendly

Property was neglected. Many things in the room did not work.

Near restaurants

pros - staff was nice , pool was fun and slide was awesome. breakfast was awesome with lots of options for everyone. Day 2 the sausages were very cold but flavourful. cons- hot tub was not working . excessively hot in our room and the AC was not working . we advised staff of this after the first night but the issue was not dealt with. there were light bulbs in room burnt out so it was dark . carpets and couches were soiled and stained . when we pulled out the couch hide a bed there were crumbs on the mattress. there was no ice tub in the room and it was a long search for staff to track one down. they did not do any housekeeping in our room on our two day stay which was odd.

I like the gym and laundry

Stay was perfect for what we needed the breakfast they offered was good . The hotel was in a perfect location for us. Will stay here again for sure .

Hot tub broke down. No breakfast. Called ahead make sure our boys would have no issues checking in but then they did were given a hard time.

It"s hard to do a rating when over Christmas there was no housekeeping, and the place had no water for most of the day on the second day we were there....contacting the hotel during the day was impossible no matter how many calls we tried to make..nobody answered and we just cgot a recording to try later....which we did as well, several times - same result. We were trying to call back to see if the water had been restored....no answer meant a round trip of almost 50 k when answering the phone would have been easier. As it was, we simply stayed away all day and came home late at night...the water was back on. HOwver, we have stayed at the Pomeroy before...and the service and accommodations were great. This was a one-of we hope anyway.

Bring able to find out what the status of the water was and not have a bloody recording telling us to call repeatedly...very aggravating. Otherwise, not all that bad.
