The Light Hotel

i book a suite but is just a normal standard room with a ocean view that all. Also i was forced to pay for the New Year Eve Dinner which is i think is ridiculous and when we went to that dinner party and we have no table again forced us to shared with someone.

My bathtub leaked water all over the bathroom Floor. I called the front desk to change room, they said the hotel is full and cannot change the room for me. They brought me a bunch of towels to cover the leak. I booked 3 room total for 3 nights, and decided to check out eatly and only stayed 1 night due the bad service.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.This hotel is in a great location straight across the road from the beach with a water sport area and deck chair area on the beach. We were a bit let down by the appearance when first walking into the hotel lobby as this is an older hotel and fairly outdated. But it looked they they were in the process of renovating as the cafe and outdoor area were being renovated at the time. We stayed in the suit room which was a good size with good views it looks like it had already been renovated with new furniture and paint job. The bathroom was still a bit dated but had good hot water and pressure. We felt the breakfast was very ordinary and of poor quality.

The hotel getting old.. Need to be renovation badly.. Toilet seat broken,no coffee in the room, shouldn't be 3star..

Hotel is right across the street from the beach. There is also the Louisiana Brewery across the street which has pretty good beer. Price for the hotel was decent for what it's worth. The hotel's swimming pool is right next to the street which some people didn't like, however I didn't use their swimming pool because you have the ocean right across the street! Why would you want to be in a pool filled with chlorine when you have nice clear and clean water right there?! The hotel was clean but the bathroom was really dim. We had a room with a view of the whole strip of Nha Trang which was awesome. The hotel was a little further away from the other hotels, but it's a walkable distance. There is also a tour desk at the hotel, however there is another tour agency down the street that is cheaper and probably has the same quality of service. You will probably hear of this agency through your taxi driver from the airport or other people in the hotel. We also rented a motorbike from the hotel and it was a fun time. There isn't really any traffic in Nha Trang so I found it pretty safe. Just be careful of who you park the bike with because some of the tourist attraction places have their own legit parkers and then there are other people outside the gate of the attractions that will try to get a little more money from you [even tho it's not that much].

picked this hotel based on good reviews, but were disappointed especially with the bathroom and the lopsided bath which leaked water all over the floor every time you showered. Breakfast was fine and location good.

The hotel of middle class in good location.We spent there 4 nights and we can say that deluxe room was ok and service.The big minus that during our staying the breakfast was very poor. During our whole 20 days travelling in Vietnam in this hotel was the worst food we have eaten there.

2.5 star - very comfortable - a little tired and needs some maintenance (especially pool furniture) otherwiise - location and room comfort very good - breakfast was quite acceptablen - staff were very pleasant

Great location, super service, breakfast was a simple buffet, but adequate. Staff couldn't do enough for service. Excellent!
