The breakfast had many options and yet, it wasn't very good.

Spent 10 days at the Jo A Palace and would return tomorrow. It was the first time we have stayed in a hotel which was not beachside but was very convenient for the old town and very easy walking distance for the harbour and beach areas. The room was small but clean and comfortable, the pool on the roof was fab for catching a gentle breeze and had wonderful views. Although the choice of food on the buffet was not extensive, we managed to find something to our liking every day. The greatest amenity of this hotel has to be the wonderful staff. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful, from the maids to the waiting staff and receptionists. Two very minor problems with the room were rectified in minutes. The greatest ambassador for the hotel has to be Maria, a beautiful lady who runs the restaurant with precision and friendliness. Such a wonderful smile even when she must be exhausted.

The property exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect. Vaso, at the front desk was great! Very helpful and friendly. We were only there for one night so we didn’t have much time to explore any amenities

Great hotel, very central, worth the price and very kind staff! Especially Maria from the restaurant was very kind and made our stay very pleasant, always checking in with us if we needed anything and nice talks every day. Good rooms, only downside was the shower which was poor quality and a bit small. Nice pool with panoramic view over the city and to the sea.

At Jo-An Palace you feel welcome from the moment you come in. The staff is helpful and kind, especially the people at the restaurant and the front desk. The rooms are fine and have everything you need, airco, refrigerator, nice bathroom and beds, curtains that keep the sun out, you name it. Little point of criticism is that the floor doesn’t get cleaned every day. But the bathroom and toilet do get cleaned every day and the bed is made every day, clean towels every 3 days, which is ok. Breakfast is delicious and so is dinner, even though we didn’t eat there every evening. One must ofcourse also enjoy meals at other local restaurants. The restaurant staff, under supervision of the lovely Maria, is really nice, especially Maria, she is always good for a talk and inquires after how your day has been. The hotel pool on the roof is pretty cool also, you can get food and drinks there and there are beds and parasols. The only thing we weren’t a big fan of, was the music, that was a bit to loud and it was unable to turn a speaker off, that was close to your sunbed, so we couldn’t rest our ears.. The hotel is situated very central and close to pickup points when you go for a tour. Lovely place altogether!
