The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was a modern design, and breakfast was fantastic.

Although it was modern, the room was pretty badly designed. There was so much unused space that would have been useful for shelving or something. The bathroom flooded after ever shower as the ledge to keep water back was less than a centimetre tall. We tried to use the pool on the roof on our first day, and were told we’re not allowed to move the beds or umbrellas… it was 33 degrees and full sun. Just madness. There was also building work going on right outside, not fault of the hotel but something to be aware of this summer

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. Thank you! :)

Nice staff, good facilities and very modern.

The breakfast was not great. But that’s the only bad thing, the rest was great!!

- [ ] Pool was warm / felt and looked unhygienic - wasn’t cleaned during our stay - [ ] No veggie or vegan options on the current menu. The options were removed half way through our stay and this point we stopped ordering from the hotel for lunch all together. When I’m abroad I will eat fish but they even removed the tuna and there was nothing on the menu I could eat following this as I can’t eat dairy. - [ ] Fruit wasn’t fresh at breakfast - flies - not many options - changes - [ ] First room was very small, we had to request to move rooms, second was adequate which they kindly moved us to - [ ] No shelf in the shower - not much space for bathroom products at all - [ ] Didn’t change our sheets - just made beds - [ ] Shower soaked the bathroom because of poor design and poor drainage - [ ] Neither hair dryer worked properly in 2 rooms - [ ] One iron to share between all guests at the hotel

Vraiment déçu de cette hôtel 4 étoiles, chambre petite avec un balcon donnant sur le mur d’en face. Au lieu d’un lit double, nous avions deux lits simple collés avec draps simple, pas très romantique. Mais surtout au niveau de la salle de bain pas au top de la propreté (voir photos) et pour finir et ça c’est le pire nous avions la demi-pension et le repas buffet du soir est à fuire. Le plus mauvais repas de tous mes séjours en Grèce. Rien de typique à part les boulettes de viandes qui n’étaient pas bonnes, les frites froides, des pâtes réchauffées plusieurs fois, buffet de desserts que la plupart des autres personnes du restaurant ont laissé dans leurs assiettes et je m’arrête la. Heureusement que je n’avais pris qu’une seule nuit. Je ne comprends pas comme on ose proposer un tel buffet. Les seuls points positif la situation proche de la veille ville et le buffet PDJ Qui est lui plutôt correct. Attention pas de parking pour l’hôtel il faut se débrouiller pour trouver une place dans les rues adjacentes ou payer le parking municipal qui n’est pas cher pour 24h

Having just returned from a 14 night stay at Jo-An Palace hotel, Rethymnon, we needed to leave a review. The position of the hotel is in easy reach of the Old town, harbour, fortress and the promenade beach front, all flat walking. On arrival check in was very quick, we arrived very late but the reception is manned 24 hours and the reception staff are very friendly and speak excellent English, we were left sandwiches and crisps and bottled water in the room because we missed dinner, this was much appreciated.The bedrooms are very similar with air conditioning, the beds are very comfortable with sheets and duvets, shower very powerful with hot water any time of day, towels, bathrobes, slippers toiletries and hairdryer provided. Friendly house keeping service the rooms everyday keeping them clean. We recommend a garden view room very quiet. Breakfast and dinner are both buffet style, the breakfast had excellent choice of continental and hot food, cold juice, water and hot drinks served from a machine, dinner lots of fresh salads, hot food or you would say warm food small choice but the desserts choice was better also,apples, oranges and bananas always available.The waiting and kitchen staff work hard to make a pleasant dining experience. The head waitress is an excellent ambassador for the hotel, making time to greet every guest. The bar is well stocked, this also sells food and snacks, once again all the bar staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooftop swimming pool and bar with seating area and very comfortable sunbeds was kept spotlessly clean. The view from the rooftop is amazing.
