Candlewood Suites Buffalo Amherst by IHG

No ac in bedroom only common area. Did have a bathroom vent fan to bring in cool air to bedroom but wasn’t efficient enough had to keep door open and rattled terrible. No soap in bathroom. Phones did not work to call desk.

This place is not someplace we would stay again. The staff were nice but that is where the pleasant experience ended. The room was dated and not particularly clean in general but the floors were downright filthy but towels and sheets did appear clean to be fair and the air conditioning worked well which was welcome as it was hot outside. Hanging on the wall was a card about human trafficking and how to recognize it and report it. Now this is great information but why are they posting this here? The place seems sketchy to start and this just put it over the edge. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate.

The bed was comfortable but the couch and chair were horrific.

I enjoyed the fact that the property was generally clean with no smell of smoke inside. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The staff, especially Shaniya, were very helpful. Thank you!

It served its purpose. Location was great.

Two different entries, the manager was professional and ensured that the guests' needs were met. Probably will not stay again.

The pillows were run down, there was one person working most of the time, there was limited guest service, and the store was limited on items.

Close to many fun restaurants, Niagara Falls, and Buffalo airport. Perfect hotel for a quick stay.
