Hotel Catania Town

Was disappointed by the way the lady of the hotel treated us.

I did not like the way the lady at the hotel treated us. First to give us a receipt of payment had to tell her several times and she wanted only cash payment. When asked when we wanted the breakfast and told her at around 7:30am, she told us it is not possible. It has to be after 9am. Later on she send me a message that it would not be possible to serve us breakfast after 11am. Else we can go to a nearby bar. Also the room had alot of mosquitos. Ended up with my forehead full of mosquitos bites. Had been to this hotel several times before and the personel were very friendly. So I am disappointed that we were treated like this by this lady. It is a shame because the hotel is in a good location and has a lot of potential.

Near the city center.

Very cold during the stay, non-working air conditioner, lack of extra blankets. Have to wait a long time to have hot water. Smell of dirty sewer in the corridor and in the room. Dirty and rusty fridge, not working safe, no glasses, very noisy from the street and neighboring rooms

Personne a l’accueil le soir du coup certains voyageurs se permettent de faire des soirées. Quartier pas hyper bien fréquenté. Hôtesse d’accueil pas très chaleureuse.

couldnt get wi fi in the room. it was hard to find the hotel! Clearer sign would help

Very central location, close to the historical section of the city. There is also a wonderful, large, daily market right outside the door of the hotel that starts early morning. Has fresh fish, meat produce, housewares, clothes, used items, etc

Although the basic amenities were there, the walls and floors were quite run down, and in need of sprucing up. The breakfast was very basic, with no fruit no real juice.

Alors, l'hôtel n'a pour lui que son emplacement dans la ville. Beaucoup d'endroit son accessible depuis l'hôtel à une trentaine de minutes à pied (parfois moins). Voilà c'est tout le positif à dire. L'ascenseur laisse la place à 1 personne plus valise, j'ai dû me battre chaque fois que je voulais fermé la porte de la chambre, selon comment je l'ai fermé rien qu'en poussant la porte je pouvais ouvrir la chambre ce qui m'a poussé à bloqué la porte avec une chaise quand on dormait. Mensonge dans les caractéristiques de l'hôtel, rien n'est insonorisé. Les draps étaient relativement propre (légère poussière dessus), j'ai trouvé un ongle sur ma table de nuit, nombreuses tâches sur les murs, parquet ravagé à certains endroit, les serviettes de bain avaient une odeur de saucisson, plus aucun joint dans la salle de bain, douche minuscule, le meuble où reposer le lavabo était déchiré à certains endroit, la cuvette des toilettes était pas à la bonne taille par rapport au WC ce qui rendait l'assise inconfortable. Bref sacré 3* cet hôtel.
