Hotel Catania Town

Very comfortable and close to the centre, staff very helpful

I purposely booked a hotel rather than another rental for this first night as I wanted a front desk on staff. There was No One there upon arrival. We had to call someone via what's ap. Luckily my phone worked internationally or we would have been unable to get in. Once in, we were asked when we wanted breakfast, so we set it up for 8am. Again the next morning, no one was present at the front desk. in fact no one was there our entire stay. We ended up leaving the keys in the room. Also the air conditioner in the room was basically non functional. We had it set to 16 degrees and it felt like 24 the entire time. We were able to open the windows in the middle of the night but in the early morning hours they began setting up the market on the street below, so due to noise we had to close those again. Overall pick somewhere else. This is not a true hotel at all.

The door to get in was gated and locked. NO one was there to check us in. It was in a horrible neighborhood and there was NO parking. We did not stay. I am going to demand I get refunded.

The location is great very central. The woman at the hotel was very helpful and accommodating.
