Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Texarkana East by IHG

The WORST Holiday Inn Express ever! Our fault for not reading reviews before we booked, but we are regular HI visitors and expect a pleasant stay. Filthy stained hallway carpets, first room reeked of smoke or must, second room smelled of smoke, but just in the bathroom, so we kept the door closed and it did clear up. Tiny TV, that we couldn't get to work, finally did. Dirty, cracked tiles in the bathroom, crack.in tub enclosure, and to cap it off, the toilet fills so slowly, you have to wait a good long time between flushes, or fill the tank yourself, as we did. Breakfast so meager, we grabbed some yogurt and left. No cinnamon rolls, pancake machine broken and no plates to eat on, only bowls. This facility needs attention! No

This location is excellent, and the Staff was Great!

My flight was cancelled and I needed to cancel the room, however the hotel would not refund my money because of their policy. It was beyond my control that my flight was cancelled and I had to completely change my trip. I even purchased the insurance and that was useless

The hotel was in a convenient location to get on and off highway to continue our trip this was just a one-night stop.

Breakfast was very good. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, various rolls, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juices. Location of hotel is very good, just off of I-30

The carpeting in the hallways is showing its age. Many stains.
