The Gallery Inn

The best hotel experienced I’ve had in Puerto Rico. Great staff and the hotel is beautiful.

We were a little unsure about the hotel upon arrival because it was very old and a little dark. We had to climb a very small spiral staircase to our room, which was no big deal for us but might be challenging for others. Our room was perfectly fine and suited our needs, and I feel like it was a good deal for the price. It had its own private balacany which was incredible and definitely the highlight of the room. I ended up really enjoying our stay at the hotel because the bed was very comfortable and the balcony was very very enjoyable. It was also a very spacious hotel and did not feel over crowded with tourists or children running all around. I felt it made for a very authentic stay in old San Juan and I would absolutely stay here if I ever came back

I had three rooms reserved and arrived on time. If I had seen it beforehand I could have gotten at least half my payment back. The location is perfect, in the center of Old San Juan and outside the building is like it’s named. Gallery, Old antiques everywhere. But it’s filthy and it should be closed down. Pictures Expedía has posted do not represent what my guests and I had to endure. Mold on walls of my room, cracked balcony,unsafe. Lamps without lightbulbs, electric outlets without covers, dusty old furnishings, bathrooms are so old and outdated, you are barely able to sit on the commode ,they need to be upgraded, water runnin through wall cracks,and in the morning found small roaches running around. One of the rooms entrance door was so small we had to enter sideways Then they wanted to charge more for each room because they said Expedía misquoted. Place should be shot down. Unsafe, unhealthy and filthy. The health department and the fire department should be notified. I urge any future guests to Stay Away. Antiques are one thing when kept cleaned but this place is filthy.

We were totally charmed by all of the ambience this hotel offers. every nook and cranny-such coziness and attention to detail was beyond belief and thoroughly enjoyed the both of us

Great stay at The Gallery Inn! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the hotel was fun to explore. Very quirky and old. We had a beautiful view of the water even from our first floor room. The pool was a little cloudy and didn't look very appealing, so that was disappointing, but our room itself was very clean, so no complaints there. The hotel is definitely a hidden gem, a short walk from the best spots in San Juan, and I look forward to staying there again!

Absolutely unique, quircky Inn full beautiful original paintings, small sculptures, gardens n a funky pool- and gorgeous parrots! Original stone, brick, plants, fountains all through the archways of this mini- labyrinth on 1st floor- a real Moorish feeling to this unique Inn!! We loved relaxing on the velvety divans amid the art. Our room on top floor- reached by a spiral staircase- had a rooftop patio overlooking rooftops and the sea!! Loved this inn!!

Perfect place for visiting the Old San Juan, perfect location and tha best place to relax after a day of walking around

Quirky, quality boutique hotel with amazing staff and an abundance of artwork. Lucky enough to catch a classical concert in the bar on my last evening. Close to everything in old San Juan. Breakfast was amazing as well. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Room smelled like mold, horrible circulation but staff was amazing!
