Excellent location & run by the James pub Next door,

Overall it was a very comfortable stay. A big, bright room, a very comfortable bed and nice selection of refreshments and toileteries. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The free Wifi wasn't working which was very annoying. The toilet roll holder was loose - which was less of a problem.

Room was superb

Shower was very posh, but complicated 🤣 eventually figured it out though ✌🏻

The best experience ever! I have stayed in Brighton so many times over many years, but staying at Kempfield House was the best by far. I went to Saint James Tavern to check in (next door) and received such a warm welcome. The tavern is beautiful and the vibe is so friendly, warm and inviting. My room at Kempfield House was a king size, with an enormous bay window that was beyond clean. It looked like it had just been re-decorated. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Massive thanks to Michelle. The room even had chocolates on the bed. Seriously so thoughtfully prepared. The pub is so welcoming, I felt I was enveloped into their world with open arms. Victoria and Zack’s pub is the first pub I have felt comfortable walking into by myself. The food is delicious, Max the Chef is really good. Victoria and Zack and their colleagues behind the bar are so kind and thoughtful. You feel really cared for and looked after.

Nothing, it was stunning.

I liked the location, easy to find after arriving by coach, and a few minutes to the sea front. I liked the interior of the guest house. The room I had was perfect for me, all amenities were there, plenty of tea and coffee etc, comfortable and a little balcony. The lady I spoke to, not sure if she was the owner but was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent little place, convenient for great, company and incredible pizza in the St James Tavern. The staff are lovely, even Coco the parrot. My room is clean, comfy, even has a jacuzzi bath. In a word fantastic.

The combination system, is fine during lucid daytime hours.

The room was spacious, clean, and the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Steep stairs. If you have a lot of luggage be aware there is a steep staircase to the rooms. No lifts. Also the view is ok but not outstanding.
