InTown Suites Extended Stay Columbus GA

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! My husband and I called around noon to see if we could check in early they told us no and seemed very bothered , and told us to come back at 3, we weren’t bothered and I shrugged off the attitude the receptionist gave. However we went back at 3, office was apparently closed even though the ladies were in there laughing and talking once they opened the door, we were told to sit and wait because they needed to inspect a room. My husband and I sat for 40 minutes waiting to check in , the other office lady did nothing but walk outside and ignore us , 2 other families were also waiting and said they had been there for almost two hours , they would not let us go to the bathroom , pictures don’t match what’s online so my husband and I booked a hotel at the Hyatt and they got us a room for 5 nights quickly and are so nice ! We walked out before getting a chance to check into the inn town suites, He also told me he didn’t feel safe having his wife there and felt like they took no measures in making sure their guests are safe! , no security and staff leaves at night! They won’t answer my phone calls or even apologize! Definitely find somewhere else to stay !

location was good

the room had dirty stains on carpet. Dirty bathroom and no hot water for four days. staff wouldn’t help at hotel or corporate office.

location. it was easy to access all of Columbus, via the highway. much better side of town, than some of the other extended stays in town.

there was nothing that I didn’t like.

Third floor room with kitchenette, two queen beds. Carpet was scuffed and stained in multiple places. Beds were clean and comfortable, and we did not have undue noisy neighbor noise. Repairs to hotel were underway, but we were out all day, so were not disturbed by any renovation noise. Check in office only open 11 pm until 7 pm, and late hours staff was friendly but inefficient. I was told to come back in the morning to finish checking in. We went to breakfast before 7 am and a museum. When we got back to the car after 1 pm, I had a message that there was a $30 fee for not finishing the check in by 1 pm, but they let it slide, so I did not have to show out. The wifi is contracted out to some service that has an overly complicated login procedure, and it required two 30 minutes plus on hold calls to gain access since it didn't work (I teach technology at the HS level, so I'm not an idiot). Not cool, but with dogged persistence, I did finally gain access. Someone had painted blue nail polish on the bathroom wall, but most disgusting was someone who wiped a crappy finger-load across the bathroom door that housekeeping apparently didn't see. We reported a very slow bathroom sink drain - not fixed, and missing/burnt out bulbs in the bathroom fixture - not fixed, even though we were there three days. The rate wasn't excessively cheap to justify these "inconveniences," and I would not return until after a complete renovation.

The room was nice, but they bath tub wasn’t clean at all.
