Moon Dreams Coral Beach

June 2025 10 days All inclusive We have been coming this hotel for many years at least once and sometimes twice a year. We have seen 3 company's run this hotel,Moon dreams being the currant one. We absolutely love the hotel and its location in Es Canna. Upon arrival we were disappointed that after receiving confirmation that the room we requested would be ready for us it had already been allocated to other guests. Had we not received an email confirmation we would not have been as disappointed as we understand that room choices are not guaranteed. However we were given a free upgrade on the 5th floor as compensation. Which we appreciated and did not expect. The hotel has certainly had lots of good improvments. * The new key wristbands are a great idea. * Our beds had new mattresses and were very comfortable. Lovely new fresh linen which was changed evey 3 days. * Fresh new fluffy towels upon request. *A powerful shower, and after a fall in the bath a slip mat was provided within minutes of requesting one. *Quality toiletries. *Our room was cleaned every day and the ladies were lovely and friendly. After seeing how some rooms were left in a discusting state. I'm talking utter filthy those housekeeping ladies do an excellent job. The hotel staff are excellent,some that have been there for a few years recognised us and welcomed us back. The food overall was better than our last visit in October 24. Plenty of choice at breakfast and lunch time.Evening meal not as much choice but never went hungry.Also 4 theamed nights Chinese,Mexican.Spanish and USA. The tables are cleaned quickly and the staff were very polite and helpful. We have stayed in 4* hotels and the food has not been as good. The snack bar is great serving the usual burgers,toasties,fries,and salad food is prepared to order so always fresh and hot. The pool area is cleaned and hosed down every morning and opens at 8.30. There are plenty of parasols at leat one for every 2/3 loungers,and the loungers are all new. We did not experience any queue and always got our prefared beds. I suspect this will change as the season heightens.I would suggest a few large parasols in the seating area. The €1 deposit for plastic cups(ppv not such a good idea) has been scrapped so as you can imagine many guest tend to accumulate a lot of cups leaving them under loungers and on tables. The bar staff are regularly collecting them,and there are plenty of bins to dispose of them in. Also a problem with some guests leaving plates of food lying around and attracting the seaguls had to ask one guest politely to use the bins provided.. The entertainment round the pool was okay. The ladies were lovely did a good job ,but what was lacking was engagement with guests. (Carla would walk round motivating everyone to join in.) Sadly I watched a game of schooling between 3 guys and the entertainment guy was not even watching them or interacting with them just on his phone. He needs to be more interactive. The evening entertainment is not our thing as we like to have a drink outside and go out to other bars but from what we seen advertised they had live bands and singers on. In my opinion sometimes it's the guest that cause other guests problems. *Slaming bedrooms doors ..maybe they could be fitted wirh anti slam door stops. *Polite notices reminding guests of noise levels. Just before we arrived a lafy was robbed of her bag at check in by a guy who had walked in off the street Towards the end of our holiday a security guard was at the entrance. Overall we had fab holiday and would definitely be returning again. Massive Thank you to all staff for making our holiday special.

Booked 3 nights for a last minute break. We usually do 5 star sensatori/Sandals type resorts, so went along with no massive expectations but pleasantly surprised. Read some scathing reviews beforehand…it’s not a five star experience I agree….its a three star hotel…but a good one! Rooms are dated, but very clean and towels and bedding were pristine. Staff excellent. Food was excellent and hot food was actually hot not lukewarm…Refreshing change. Plenty of choices at both snack bar and the buffet. All of the photographs I show are just one lunchtime. It was quite nearly the end of service. No “resturant”..a canteen style food hall but clean and plenty of tables. Drinks good overall. Had better cocktails but were ok…. First time running on a long mat over the water…such fun! Ent staff tried very hard. Wouldn’t be my choice for a two week holiday but really good for a quick break away and would do again. Literally three minutes from the beach and a 10 minute walk from Harbour area which had some brilliant bars with live entertainment.

Staff - Very Friendly & Attentive all over the hotel, absolutely no complaints. Rooms - Cleaned everyday & fresh towels if you need. Cleaning staff all very lovely. No kettle. No fridge. We had to hire a fridge for 50 euros for the week which we needed for babies milk. Aircon in rooms not very strong. Noise from corridor & doors slamming extremely loud. We had an outside facing balcony so didnt get much noise from entertainment or pool which was good. Key fobs for rooms also on wristbands which is very handy. Food - average standard all inclusive buffet. Was okay but not great. Toasties from the snack bar were good. Entertainment - kids mini disco was poor, same songs & dances every single night. Didnt see much of the later entertainment so cant comment. Good activities in the big pool through the day. Pools - no rush for sunbeds which is great & can always get some. Alot of the big pool is in the shade through the day. We were at the kids pool which was good & got the sun all day. All kids shared toys & floats which was nice. However some adults only laid at the kids pool & complaining of getting splashed or hit by balls etc - go to the big pool! Location - perfect. Supermarket across the road & 5 min walk to many bars & restaurants & the beach. No major complaints about this hotel but could do better in areas mentioned. We got a nice cheap deal & it was worth that money. Es Canar is absolutely beautiful to go out & explore & the restaurants & bars around are all lovely - pricey but didnt bother us as we liked going out.

We stayed at coral moon hotel for a week staff are very friendly and attentive, food unfortunately was poor so we didn’t end up eating here but we expect it with all inclusive food anyway but we never struggled to eat out as a lot around in the area, we were sadly disappointed that we did have to pay 15 euros for a kettle and there was no fridge, we had no choice as we had a baby who needed milk making up so didn’t think it was very fair All in all we had a very good holiday!

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights late June 2025. Positives • Good location, lots of shops nearby and the beach • Sun loungers can only be accessed at 8:30am so no rat race for beds •Clean and spacious rooms •Wrist bands contained room key chip which was a lot easier than just a key Neutral • As expected from a 3 star the drinks are watered down and not very nice •Food is the basic all inclusive food Negatives •Air con really poor, thankfully the staff gave us a fan, otherwise withouth it the heat would have been unbareable •Walls/floors very thin even on the top floor you could hear a lot of noise Ultimately you get what you pay for, we got this stay as a cheap deal so we are happy with what we got for a cheap 3 star hotel.

Firstly the good points I have been to this hotel some years ago since then it’s been repainted and has had some updates The hotel is very clean, and staff are great The food is nothing special standard 3star all inclusive best meal is always the breakfast, Negative points The hotel has two grills in the restaurant for show cooking eggs , steak ect. However one was not working at all and the other was only half working so very long wait at peak times for eggs ect when I spoke to the staff about it they said it had been like that for some time Entertainment is very poor and indoor , small team of three all seemed inexperienced too many nights with no real entertainment quiz and bingo, karaoke evening children’s entertainment what there is of it lasts about 30 min and the adult lasts 1 hour so if you are looking for some good entertainment then this is probably not the hotel for you

Where do I start I cannot give enough praise to this little gem. Definitely deserves more than the 3 star rating. Arrival friendly staff smooth check in. Room 245 overlooking the pool. Spacious cleaned daily by a really friendly lady - fresh towels daily and always looked immaculate cleaning. Pool area full of sun beds and no one can access the area until 8.30am - fabulous always got a bed. Entertainment staff worked hard and you could tell had a good rapport with each other rather playground style at times which was quite sweet to watch. Music was a little repetitive and melancholy at times but when the good mixes played with original artists it ticked all boxes - great Restaurant plentiful food always warm and selection meat fish pasta each day lunch and dinner. Breakfast good choice would have liked to have seen museli on the cereal section but no complaints all lovely. Chef cooked nightly ( steak chops fish chicken) all chefs always had a smile and fantastic bond with each other. Waiting staff really nice. Could not complain about a thing with the food it was better than some 4 star hotels we have been to! Snack bar chef happy and excellent chef. Nice selection of freshly cooked snacks. Bar never queued and drinks wide selection all good. Set 5 mins from beach and 20 mins walk to Wednesday hippy market. Las Dalia’s 10e in a taxi and well worth a visit to the hippy night market and what an experience. I can give nothing but high praise to this perfect hotel. And am looking to book next year again but the prices have rocketed since we went adjust over a week ago. One piece of feedback the paint play by the pool I would say the space is not big enough and left a few of us gasping on the powder paint as the entertainment staff threw it at each other they were having more fun than the guests. But please don’t take that as a negative because the whole holiday was so positive! Well done to all management and staff you are amazing and have a lovely hotel

This is a 3 star hotel, but a very good one, read a few negative reviews before we came and have to say we couldn't find many negatives. Could do with some updating but everywhere is very clean they have new sunbeds and new mattresses in the rooms. The corridors have hard flooring so it can be noisy when guests are arriving or leaving which came up in some reviews. Our room was cleaned daily and sheets changed twice in 7 days . All the staff we met were brilliant. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice we ate lunch outside from the snack bar which was also very good ,special mention to the snack bar chef who was funny and quick to serve. Lots of guests were complimentary about the restaurant. We didn't use it at night as we prefer to go out so can't comment. Drinks were fine as good as any all inc we have visited. There were 3 professional entertainment acts on in our stay we only caught the end of their shows but were good and well received. The animation team worked hard to get people involved. Only real downside here was no kettle or fridge in the rooms ,aircon was fine in our room. We would definitely return here

Positive - Room basic but nice. Tv can connect to Netflix which children liked. - Wrist bands are room keys which is really handy. - May half term, not too busy not too quiet - Average food, with a few really nice things. Food times are good. Chinese night, Mexican night really good. - Staff are really friendly and work really hard. - Beds comfortable enough - 5 mins walk from a beach, 10 mins walk from another beach. Negative - Check in was painfully slow - Walls are paper thin, doors slam if you don’t hold them as they close. Heard drunk people, people moving in/moving furniture, a family having a major fight just before 5am. - Pool is freezing, takes your breath away for the first couple of minutes. Very deep except for a small area. Slightly better in the afternoons. - Lifeguard sits so far back from the pool, it was pointless him being there. - Shower temperature doesn’t stay even, goes cold then scalding hot. - Cleaners insisted on changing beds part way through the week (they’d been in the clean the room the day before), they changed the towels in the bathroom as well and managed to lose our toothbrushes! Went straight to reception once we noticed, they said they’d check and get back to us but they didn’t. Cleaners need to be more careful. - Cleaners come in even if do not disturb sign is up. - Several things broke down in the restaurant, soda machines giving out carbonated water rather that pop, pancake machine not working. Ran out of pastries and some of the sauces a few times. - Wrist bands locked out a day before we were due to leave. Notes - No bottled water but you can bring your own water bottle to fill up from the machines. - Kids gaming machines can be temperamental, ate our money but reception gave it back no problem. - Cocktails - I’d heard they were strong but the few I tried weren’t. Base is premixed from a machine. Outside bar is stronger than hotel bar. - Our only request was connecting rooms, which we didn’t get.

After seeing some mixed reviews we didn’t know what to expect. However our experience was very positive. Yes it’s 3 star but the bedrooms were clean and smart. Bathroom nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We went all inclusive and the food selection catered to all tastes. My only negative was having to pay 50 euros for a fridge. We took our own kettle or we would have had to pay for one. Other than that it was a lovely holiday
