"Idyllic place in an amazing city!"

This was my second time staying in Riad Karmela. I had such a great time in 2012 I decided to book again. The current reviews confirmed that the high standard was still in place We had such a lovely relaxing time , the staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, great selection of fruits, breads, pastries and great coffee. We felt part of the Riad Karmela family. Fantastic location. We will definitely be back !

Great selection on offer.Something to cover all visitors preferences.Freshley made omlettes a bonus.Made with a smile. Exellent!

No licence to supply alcahol,which was available on the two occations ive stayed there in the past.I was informed the the reason was due to an ownership change ,and the alcahol licence was not yet granted! Didnt impact on my stay though. Still a great Oasis!

"Excellent stay!"

Location was a short walk into the center of old marrakech. Room was a good size. All the staff were very friendly and spoke English, along with a variety of other languages. Breakfast was a good buffet selection with fresh omelettes and pancakes made to order. Plenty of fruit, yogurt etc. Roof terraces were a quite space to sit and read at the end of a day when you had faced sensory overload.

Maybe some nuts and seeds to add to the breakfast, but nothing worth downgrading the rating.

Beautifully organised and appointed. Staff and service exceptional and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Great evening meal.

Slightly limited evening meal menu. Would have been nice to get a self-serve hot drink when needed but thermos was always empty.

"Wonderfully unexpected oasis of calm!"

With a great central location, the Riad Karmela was a wonderfully unexpected oasis of calm amidst the glorious chaos and sensory overload that is the souk. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet (especially considering the location) and we had a few lovely treats (fruit, nuts etc) left in the rooms each day. The spa treatments we had were wonderful and the staff throughout the Riad were all genuinely lovely, kind and helpful. I’m sure we’ll be returning!

"A wonderful memory"

Stepping into the Riad Karmela is like entering an oasis of calm and tranquility around the buzz of this extraordinary city. Inside the Karmela my wife and I found a team of people that genuinely welcome and care for their visitors. Everything was perfect.. but our visit was too short. Our breakfast, which was including in our room rate was superb...fresh fruit, breaks and so much more. and everything came with a smile and a genuine happiness to serve their guests. We will defiantly go back to Riad Karmela if we visit Marrakesh again.
