Waldorf Astoria Chicago

My daughter and I stayed at the Waldorf in Chicago last weekend and it was absolutely what the doctor ordered for an 8 month pregnant person. Our room was gorgeous, the staff amazing and my daughter loved the indoor lap pool. Fabulous restaurants and shopping within 1-2 blocks and to come back to a cozy lobby area with fireplace. Could not have asked for a better stay vacation!!

The Waldorf was amazing and it all started with Deandre checking us in. He was cheerful, warm and gave us an upgrade. When we saw our room, we were stunned. It was a corner one bedroom suite! On a high floor! The whole stay was perfect.

This was my fourth stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, and I continue to love the luxury vibe, prime location, always quiet at night. This property also has a speakeasy bar at the 2nd floor, their drinks are great. While I was initially assigned a Deluxe King with a fireplace, I found the bathtub hadn't been properly cleaned (dirt and hair). However, the staff's response was world-class. Brianna at the front desk handled the situation perfectly and moved me to a Junior Suite with that classic interior design I love. To top it off, Eleni was incredibly friendly during checkout and ensured I left happy. Despite the initial issue, the welcoming staff is why I’ll keep coming back.

This is such a beautiful hotel, luxury appointed rooms and linen with nice views. My son especially enjoyed the fireplace.. and the shower water pressure is amazing! Hotel was were very professional and we had great service from our room attendant, checkin and room service. A must stay when in Chicago.

The hotel staff at the Waldorf Chicago are truly the class of the industry. They make you feel like the a VIP at every interaction. Their courtesy, expedience, and thoroughness is beyond any I've experienced at any other hotel brand, by a lot. The rooms are quiet, spacious, comfortable and luxurious. The fireplace, terrace, and larger shower and tub are the best amenities inside the room. The restaurant on level 3, the bar on level 2, and the lounge space on the lobby level all serve as excellent amenity spaces as well. I didn't use the spa on my visit. The room and common areas are immaculate and well maintained. The house keeping staff is so discreet as well. You don't see housekeeping cluttering the elevators or hallways. I'm not sure how they sneak around and get everything so clean mostly behind the scenes. The turn-down service is a nice bonus. The location is perfect for shopping and so many great restaurants. The house car that takes you to anywhere within a mile is such a welcome accommodation - not having to worry about a cab/uber. I used points for the stay but got treated like I paid for the most expensive suite, even being generously offered a free upgrade. Overall this place is the pinnacle of a luxurious stay in Chicago, or anywhere. The management down though front desk, house keeping, food service, bar, valet, concierge make staying here special at every turn.

Deandre and Mia were stand outs. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Also Julian!!!! Thanks for taking our bags from one room to the next while I’m pregnant thank you all!! See you soon again.

The hotel is beyond beautiful and well maintained to compete with other 5 star hotels. In room dining is amazing as well. But what sets this hotel apart is the amazing bell staff that greet and assist you from the moment you arrive. This time, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Luis, Jonathan and Morgyn.
