Very dated hotel furnishings need updating, prime spot for ferry arrival and departure. Building work in progress, staff very polite and helpful.
We booked this hotel for location as it was central to where we were planning to explore and visit family. The place was grand in it's day you can see that but is in need of TLC. The staff were really helpful and friendly and it is good value for money overall. I think its a work in progress as the place some updating.

Needs a bit tlc to bring it back to being the number one hotel to be staying in in Dunoon but it was Comfortable and staff are nice and friendly

Lovely place, has an old world charm about it. Jim at the front desk is lovely as are all other staff. Location is also great as it’s right opposite the ferry terminal. Great place, would recommend and stay here again!
The staff were lovely, Lorraine is a fabulous host and once again made the stay wonderful.
not a great stay for price, hotel in a state of repair, jobs not finnished was not made aware refurbishment was under way reception lady was helpfull.
This hotel was not fit for people to stay at no service was available from No food or even a bottle of water like a building site . We had to pay but we stayed elsewhere.
Great location, staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble made to feel welcome a home from home.
