Residence Inn by Marriott Harrisonburg

We decided to stay at this hotel for a last minute business trip due to the reviews, and for the most part, we were happy with our stay. My main complaint is the noise. The only room left was a studio room, which had a large gap at the door. Our neighbors woke us up multiple times starting at 7am with pets and kids running and screaming down the hallway. The AC unit sounds like a train nearby, which made it hard to fall asleep. The room was otherwise nice and would be great for students, business trips, or longer stays. Provided they fix the door.

The final night of our 6 week road trip and it was the perfect ending! We felt so comfortable due to the luxurious accommodations.

Friendly, clean, exceeded expectations! My daughter and I stayed here when bringing her to college at JMU. Room had a full fridge, stove top, coffee machine, microwave, nice large sofa with a table, and a very comfortable bed. Downstairs they provided free cookies and fruit infused water in the lobby, along with free buffet breakfast in the morning. Amenities included a nice indoor pool, Connect Four game in the lobby, basketball courts outside. There was a small store with food and drink items including snacks and meal items to make upstairs in the microwave for a snack. These were reasonably priced. Very conveniently located to many restaurants and close to the University. The staff were incredibly friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The internet was down until further notice and the television didn’t work. The staff was not helpful or accommodating. There was a $100 additional pet fee not mentioned in booking page.

I travel a lot for work, but sadly don't get to travel a lot with my family. We decided to take a "staycation" recently, mainly looking for a place with a nice suite and a pool for the kids. This location had just what we needed, but you look at things differently when it's for your family rather than just for work. We were happy to find the staff at this location very friendly and helpful -- from the front desk to housekeeping, and the kitchen staff too. We had two breakfasts and both staffers were working diligently to keep the food stocked up for the guests, and the food was a notch above the typical hotel breakfast. The pool was good, condition of the hotel was good, and location gives you access to many restaurants, several within walking distance. Very good experience!

My stay was great everything was awesome especially breakfast very nice people I liked how they always kept the food stocked and ready for us to eat even this one gentleman came over to my table to assist me in taking my empty plants that I was done with I don’t know that to me deserves something

Entire staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a notch above the typical hotel layout and the staff seemed to care. Heated saltwater pool was highlight for the kids. Easy access to many restaurants.
