Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Airport at Cascade Station

This is a nice property with easy access to the airport, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast fruit was lacking in that they only had overripe bananas. I felt like they gouge their guests by charging $9/day for parking when there is ample parking all around. This property is next door to a Target with a huge lot.

Lots of comfortable space easily accessed from the MAX red line. We had late-arriving lflight, connected to Amtrak at Union Station in the morning. A little angst upon arrival when they could not find reservation. Hate when that happens9! I prefer brief reviews, so I am choosing not to go on and on.

Excellent hotel at Cascade station. Friendly, safe, quiet and clean! We appreciated the friendly staff and felt they appreciated us staying with them also. We met Katie, Trevor, Bonnie and Ryan. I appreciated knowing that someone (Trevor) was on staff at night from security because the parking lot is next to the light rail. He introduced himself and said he would be watching over the cars and the place all night. We felt so relieved to know he was there. What a nice thing to do. This area is very quiet and we couldn’t even hear the light rail trains when they were right there, or the nearby airport-incredibly quiet. The windows in this place are the most soundproofed I’ve ever experienced. The ed was so comfortable, breakfast was good and they had very good coffee. Well done here. I hope you recognize your staff members for the great job they do. They are your greatest assets. Lisa

Perfect location for business trip around PDX airport area and transit. The most convenient for public transportation such as light train. Hotel provides airport shuttle every 20 mins. Kitchen was also perfect for cooking instanly and Target is located right next door. Perfect accommodation.

We have stayed at this property a half a dozen times. It stands out as one of our favorites in PDX, regardless of your need to use the airport. It is quick and convenient to I-205, Cascade Station Shopping, light rail, and of course PDX airport. The staff at this Residence Inn take everything up a notch. They work hard to make connections, give a warm smile or positive greeting regardless of if it is the front desk, house keeping, breakfast staff or the night watch person in the parking lot. While the hotel is not new, they have done a nice job of keeping it current and functional. Recently our family stayed over Thanksgiving for three nights, and used the full kitchen to cook a full Thanksgiving feast. Yes we brought a few things from home to make it easier to cook, but for the most part they have what you need. Book this property with confidence and enjoy your stay!
