Fabulous quirky hotel with interesting history, friendly atmosphere & yummy breakfasts.

Interesting building and quiet location. Nice atmosphere.Pub type food. Our room (14) was a bit small, but ok for one night.

Amazed at the quality vs cost of this stay- it was excellent value with historical atmosphere, comfortable accommodation added to a warm, friendly village pub feeling in the evening. Great breakfast.

This is an ancient building that has been quite well updated, and that process continues. We found it to be a handy location and we’d certainly stay there again.

Very comfortable stay in an old Manor House. I had to leave before the normal breakfast time, but yogurts, cereal & hot croissants were available for me.

The staff have no customer service skills or interaction or empathy with guests. The floorboards in the hallway are very noisy and creaky so you cannot sleep as people are constantly walking up and down late at night and early morning. Our room was full of extension leads for our electrical things leads trailing everywhere. The tinned fruit for breakfast was ' fizzy ' which means it was off. We were a large party staying there and spent a lot of money, on the rooms/ drinks and food. the staff do not care including the manager.
