Location a bit out of town

To charge extra in this day and age for wi fi is a big no no. Place looked dated and could do with a refurb

It was a good size and in a good location

It was very tired and in need of renovation. We had problems with the AC not working which wasn’t resolved and also a leak in a bedroom ceiling which wet a single bed so a couple had to share a single bed. Reception wasn’t great, no one there until we checked out.

We arrived on a Sunday so reception was closed but they had left us the key so check in was easy. You also get an allocated car parking spot. The apartment was a really good size, had a washing machine and dryer which was handy. We loved the pool area.

The location was a bit too far (walking) into port Douglas when we wanted to go for a meal and drink. Driving distance not an issue at all.

Good location and easy to check in

The room really needed a good clean. It wasn't dirty but lots of dust and cobwebs everywhere. The balcony off the bedroom in particular was neglected so we didn't use it. It's a shame because the place has huge potential to be lovely but just needs more attention to detail and general cleaning. Also in one room there were no pillow cases on the pillows and they forgot to empty the bathroom bin from previous people ...
