Hilton Garden Inn Omaha East/Council Bluffs

Super clean rooms. Bartender was super kind and knowledgeable. Front lobby staff did not make clear our check-out time nor deposit for damages.

Clean & quiet

I was in town for a work conference and to stay at this hotel on Thursday and Friday. When I checked in Thursday night I pulled back the bedding and it had not been changed. There were many short black hairs on the sheets. I went down to the front desk (they were wonderful and very kind) to get clean bedding. I changed the bedding, but the air conditioning was not working properly so the room was uncomfortably warm. When I put the top lid down on the toilet seat there was dried urine behind it, where the seat is attached to the bowl, so the bathroom was not cleaned properly either. I also let the front desk know about this. They did offer me a complimentary breakfast but I didn't accept. We were having breakfast at the work conference I was attending. I was also given a fan to help with the warm room. It was a little round desk fan that the front desk staff uses for themselves while working. I usually never stay at Hilton but since the conference suggested this hotel as it was within walking distance most of us attending were booked to stay here. I will continue to avoid Hilton hotels. Also I am trying to upload my pictures and it is not working.

I booked my hotel room over two weeks ago through my business and was to be booked in a king Junior suite. I checked on online and it said my room would be ready, however, when I arrived, they said they had no rooms left. Never was I greeted as a Hilton Honors member. Apparently, it doesn’t matter here whether you’re a Hilton Diamond level member. I asked if they could give me any perks since my room was apparently given away, and the answer was no. Little do they know I’m in charge of recommending hotels for our statewide business for the next six months, and this will be going down on my “no” list.

Some clanging noise in the wall all night, very annoying. They wanted to charge me $14 for an English muffin in the morning when our reservation was supposed to include a continental breakfast. The area around the hotel was sketchy as well.

Enjoyed our stay. Clean spacious rooms, and fun casino. The steakhouse in the casino was delicious!
