"Good"

Staff was friendly and very helpful

did not know reminding was going on if that had not been happening my visit would have been everything that I expected. Hotel was a little dusty and sheetrock scraps were everywhere not much but enough that you could not miss .It looked like crew was trying to keep clean .

"Not the hotel for us"

The hotel was easily accessible from the main road.

The hotel was under a MAJOR renovation therefore there was construction noise until 8pm both nights and there was dust and trash throughout the hotel. The two guest elevators were even filthy with garbage and hand/finger prints all over the walls and floor selection panel. We didn’t want to touch anything.

"Even with the dirt from the renovations going on it was nice.just wished we could have takena shower"

Good location. Breakfast was good. Staff was super nice.

Renovating going on. We didn’t have any hot water, shower or sink. Second floor hall carpet was dirty from the renovations.

"Poor, Uncaring and Unresponsive Staff & Management"

We stayed in April for my mother in law’s funeral. First impression was not good as the hotel was under complete renovation inside and out and the rates were very high. Things went from bad to worse. The first night my shower went from hot to cold and my husband stepped on a carpet tack where the carpet was frayed barefooted. I reported these incidents on the chat feature. I received no response. The next morning my husband reported this to the front desk. That afternoon we reported it again and added the complaint of sugar ants in our kitchen. I was informed the hotel does not have kitchens and you have to let the water run before it will be hot (although it went from hot to cold). The desk agent spoke to someone about the issues and came back saying, grudgingly, that we could have our first night compensated and we could check out. We couldn’t check out. We were having a funeral the next day and our other family members were also staying there. That afternoon someone finally came in to work on the carpet tack. Turns out there were several because they were still there after the hammering. At check out the next morning the bill did not show compensation for the first night. I asked about it and was told I’d need to call the manager on Monday. I tried this twice but the manager was not there. I had to go through Hilton to get the compensation and was told I would be contacted by the hotel within three days. I was not. I later wrote an email to hotel management asking for points as a goodwill gesture or a response at the very least. I did not receive either. This was our second stay at the hotel and I guess it will be our last.

I don't make it a habit to write ad copy. Location was convenient to the event we were attending, but the parking wasn't great and the construction was annoying. One of the adjacent rooms apparently had to sleep with the TV on. I suggest they add better sound-proofing

If we were given the right room. if there was no fleas in the room, if there was at least a bottle of water in the room.
