Hampton Inn & Suites Palestine

Very disappointed to get here and the entire hotel is being renovated. I booked ONLY so I could exercise in the morning before starting my day. The gym was closed and they still charged full price.

Too much construction interference. Should close for renovations rather than forcing guests to unknowingly deal with the inconveniences.

At the time we went they were remodeling. When it gets done it should be great. They had finished our room and it was wonderful.

Property was under MAJOR construction and they did not inform me when I booked or prior to arrival.. I definitely would have booked somewhere else. Certainly not worth what I was charged for room. Disappointed

hotel was under construction and we were not informed prior. many facilities were unavailable and establishment inside and out was dirty and noisy.

Hotel is undergoing renovations, construction work going on all over the property. Half the car park taken up with construction equipment. Only one of two elevators working . To be fair we did have a good nights sleep, we where not disturbed by construction noise. Breakfast was poor, no dark roast coffee, trash bin overflowing, ran out of omelettes and when more put out, straight from microwave, centre was still cold. Kitchen attendant most unhelpful did not understand requirement to take care of dietary needs (my wife requires gluten free for medical reasons) attendant just indicated she didn’t understand, receptionist was also no help he just shrugged.

Friday night. Really good Hampton. On par with most Hamptons. Be aware that to the left of the picture there's a railroad track, and trains come through frequently, which might keep you up at night. If it matters, you're a 10-minute drive to downtown. Room was very clean. Bed fine. The free breakfast could be improve with more options.

There was overall construction going on that we were not made aware of. Lots of dirt/dust inside and outside 😞 Parking was a real issue 😣

Our room was very nice with fresh decor and new carpet. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of choices. The desk staff was excellent.

Somehow I missed that the hotel was renovating inside and out. My sister was meeting us and missed the hotel because the temporary sign had blown down. Parking was tricky manuvering around the construction vehicles and materials.
