The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. Please note that some properties do not permit guests with tattoos to use the onsite public bathing facilities.

The staff were very kind and educated us on many things: the onsen basket, tea ceremony, and the departure ceremony. Our room was beautiful and the amenities were excellent. The onsen was tattoo-friendly so I got to use one for the first time. I'll be forever grateful for this hotel!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and patient, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. They even took the initiative to recommend a fantastic restaurant and made the booking on our behalf. It was truly exceptional service, exceeding even the typically high Japanese standards for hospitality.
