Pineapple Villas on Laguna Beach

Location, right on the beach

The pool area and beach access are the major plus sides of Pineapple Villas. It was cold and windy while we were there so we were not able to enjoy those things much at all. The dog walk area is small and thorny, it was difficult to find a place to walk the dog. The facilities are very quaint. Old buildings remodeled in different stages. Mis-matched and uncomfortable furniture for sitting. Bed was ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Totally relaxing family vibe, exceeded our expectations, easy to park and check in, beautiful view of beach and friendly staff. Comfy little villa.

Great location! The hotel is ok. No luxury, comfortable. sofa with many stains.

Property wasn't as advertised, but was very clean (which is my #1 priority). Check in was easy and earlier than anticipated.

First time here...but perfect beach access...about 3 mils away from all the noise...kitchenette and fridge with a king size and a pull out...perfect

Love these place!!

I loved the location! The beach is outstanding! So close and clean and no cars! And that is about all good I can say about property. The first impression wasn't good just looking at the door of our "villa". It was awfully dirty around door knob, black dirty. The door lock is very hard to lock or unlock. Needs WD-40. Inside was spacious but very shabby. I mean it. And no "shabby chic"! All metal vents was rusted and never cleaned inside. And we were breathing those air going through those vents. The refrigerator door had a lots of rust spots too. Inside it was clean though. Bathtub was kinda gross: the mat inside was not clean and on the bottom was a lots of dead little insects. The floor through all unit appears dirty. Very poor quality bedding and mattress. After seen all those neglected areas I don't know how clean bedding were. The furniture is mismatch. I think if you call establishment a "villa", it suppose to match the appearance and certain standards for cleanness. And there was no spot to dry our beach towels or bathing suits. It was 2 plastic chairs outside of back door and not even tiny table. Big disappointment about accomodations!! Just little things, like can of spray paint and little extra cleaning would have made a world of difference. I would recommend to someone the location but not the "Pineapple Villa" to stay in.
