Highly recommend, lovely place to stay, good food and very friendly. Will stay again...

Lovely pub and accommodation is lovely and separate which was good Room however was very dusty the coffee tray thick with dust, cobwebs in room scatter pillows that were on bed were stained and dirty on back and soap dispenser in bathroom dirty Shower ceiling needs sorting as mouldy Could also hear people above talking and walking about Food was lovely although service should be better for the price waiter did not check on us at all but did with larger tables next to and opposite us!! Sat at bar after for few drinks staff sat at bar possibly kitchen staff? Their language was not acceptable swore quite abit while sat their having a drink

Excellent Country Inn. Food was fantastic and a great breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was warm and very comfortable.

Great stay at the woolpack. Fantastic dinner and breakfast and brilliant staff who were all super helpful. The decor in the pub and the bedrooms is very nice, the only negative is that our bathroom could have done with a bit of tlc. Having said that the cleanliness was spot on.

Clean spacious room and good bathroom. Bit chilly when we got here but we didn’t spot the electric heater! Very friendly staff.

We only stayed overnight but were made welcome, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and staff friendly.

Woolpack inn is in a beautiful location. The inn itself is lovely, great food, great outside areas and the staff are really helpful. I would definitely return but I wouldn’t stay in the same room (Woodcock). It was just too small and with twin beds pushed together there was no room for another bedside table. There is also a noise problem with the water pipes set in a cupboard in the corner of the room so anyone running a tap etc in the other rooms causes the pipes to vibrate. I just felt this room didn’t offer value for money at £200 a night but as we booked only a few days before a bank holiday weekend I assume this was the only room they had available. So I would definitely return as long as I had the option of a different room

Had a lovely stay in a beautiful location. Bed was really comfortable. Great power shower. Good blend of tea and coffee in the room although a bit stimpy on the sugar. Staff were lovely, very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great too and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
