Fantastic pub with several clean comfortable and well decorated rooms. Breakfast choice was ideal from Kipoers to full English and the Steaks at dinner perfectly cooked Will definitely return to stay again soon The staff were all extremely helpful, professional and chatty !

The Woolpack is a lovely country inn - in the middle of nowhere, but with easy access to beautiful Alresford and not too far (9 miles) from Winchester. Food is good (on Sunday evenings, when I arrived, they do a wood-fired pizza/barbecue session) and they have a very good restaurant. They have a wide selection of beers, ales, ciders, gins etc etc etc. The atmosphere is "classy country inn" and the Woolpack is obviously popular locally, which is always a good sign. It's run by a very friendly, helpful team, so it's a pleasure to be there. My room was small but comfortable, with an excellent shower, but a few little things were not functioning completely well and I got the impression that the rooms are about ready for a slight overhaul. Would I stay there again? You bet! Nice place, nice people, lovely setting, good food and drink........what's not to like?

Rooms are sweet but petite. Location is prettily rural. Communal spaces cosy and inviting. B’fast tasty. Staff welcoming and helpful. Down side is lack of sound proofing between rooms, which meant disturbed sleep!

Nice base for exploring the countryside. Easy check in, nice meals.
