"Nice hotel close to Pen y Fan/Brecon Beacons"

10.0

The staff here were excellent. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We were also able to get an early breakfast as we had to leave early for a race.

"Wouldn't go out of my way to stay here"

6.0

It seems like its run by a family who try to cover all the bases, but miss a few along the way. It has a nice size bar but doesn't stock Cheese and onion crisps or peanuts? Had a bit of a scare when leaving as we got locked in the room, had to use a mobile to call reception to let us out. It does have a nice big car park.

"Friendly staff, cheap and cheerful "

8.0

Firstly, the staff at this hotel are friendly and very helpful. It’s also very handy for the football stadium as it’s literally next door! Pretty convenient if you’re cycling in the Brecon Beacons and surrounding areas. The hotel itself looks pretty tired and could really benefit from a refurb. I’m not convinced it was as clean as it should’ve been, but by no means was it dirty. There was loud music to be heard from a nearby pub (I guess), but that shut off in plenty of time before sleep Generally, cheap and cheerful. The ‘chalet’ rooms outside the hotel are good for small groups

"Very pleasant stay"

Very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a separate anex that I stayed in so was happy with the extra privacy. I wouldn’t have any problems staying again

"enjoyable stay would recommend"

8.0

we found the hotel easy to find next to the local football club. on arrival we had a friendly welcome from the staff . the room was spacious and had a nice double bed that was very comfortable . the bathroom was a decent size the shower was really good nice and powerful . The location was about 10 minutes walk from the town centre . overall it was a pleasant stay and is a ideal place to stay if visiting the brecons and you want a bit of night life and you want a nice value stay

We stayed in a twin annex. The room itself wasn't too bad! The beds were fairly comfortable although we did need an extra pillow but these were found in the wardrobe. The bathroom was very dated but pretty clean although the shower seemed to only have a hot or hotter option. The Food was really nice paid for breakfast and its definitely enough to set you up for the day. We didn't eat our evening meal at the hotel but walked down to the harvester instead, however the food they were serving looked and smelled really nice! It's a nice little hotel run by what looked like just 2 people so the service was a little bit slow in the evening but the lady seemed to be doing everything while the gentlemen was busy preparing food in the kitchen.

You get what you pay for. The place was very bad. Breakfast was good, but that was it.
