Turbot House Hotel

We like City Edge convenient if you need somewhere to stay if you dont want to drive home after a day or night in Brisbane close walk to everywhere and always clean n tidy and staff are very helpful

The property was exactly what I expected from a budget inner city hotel. the staff were accommodating and helpful when I had a problem with the room being two small to two people, upgrading me to a premier room. don't expect the Ritz and you wont be terribly disappointed. One concern I did have was that fire door between floors are routinely propped open. I am not sure if this is to combat damp or smell but it is an EXTREMELY dangerous practice.

It was handy to all my arrangements and activities that were planned for my stay at this time.

Convenient location

Great location for Brisbane CBD amd the staff were friendly and helpful. Stay didn't get off to the best of starts with plenty of 6-legged company but I was offered the chance to swap rooms in the morning and the first room was cleaned. Also had to contend with vent sounds. Whilst on the small side the (new) room was comfortable. Wifi was good. The shower in this room was mirrored to the first and seemed to be better. In the first I knocked my elbows. As stated by the hotel, the cabin bathrooms are small. So overall a pleasant stay but would not have been the case had I not swapped.

It was convenient to the CBD, riverside and South Bank. Price was reasonable. Didn't expect anything more than what we got for the price.

Good location and good value for money friendly staff

AC didn’t work. Doors being slammed thru the night, no coffee, lots of tea, just plain second class. The man at the counter was very nice and professional. Would stay there again.

Loved the friendlu staff and the central location.
