Villa Vaucluse Apartments

Location was perfect, close to everything but quiet.

Nice little apartment and the owner was great on communication. Comfy lounge area and if you want to cook yourself it had good amenities. Past visitors had left margarine and sugar which was great. About a few blocks from main shops, 3 blocks from esplanade.

I found it odd that we were attached to the managers office, just made me uncomfortable about the security of the apartment but there were no issues and the door was lockable. It can be noisy as it is on a road but manageable with earplugs and it wasn't noisy every morning, only when a truck was collecting something. An easy walk to key attractions though others I think are closer for the same price. It would have been nice to have milk provided to start with so we didn't need to go out straight away to just have a cup of tea.

Good location

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to very poor communication and lack of basic comfort. We reached out multiple times before and during our stay and received either no response or delayed replies. We requested an early check-in, just an hour or two, but were told to book an extra night. Ironically, after we had already checked in, they messaged saying we could have paid by the hour. Too late by then. We also asked for a late check-out (just one extra hour) and again, no reply. When I called, I was bluntly told to be out by 10am sharp or pay for an entire extra day. The tone was unnecessarily rude. During the stay, we had a couple of questions but no one responded to our calls or messages. Communication throughout was frustratingly poor. The unit itself was not properly cleaned, my wife started cleaning as soon as we arrived. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the TV wasn’t connected to the internet so we couldn’t stream Netflix, and there was no coffee machine, just a pot with stale coffee grounds that didn’t look clean or hygienic. Noise insulation was terrible, you could hear everything from outside, which made it hard to sleep. It’s a shame because the location is good and the unit has potential, but the lack of comfort and almost non-existent communication made the experience really poor. Would not recommend.

Very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment in the city. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a washing machine and dryer. The secure underground car park is great as I always travel Australia with a car. Very convenient location, you can walk anywhere in the inner city area.

Great location, great price, clean and tidy, great communication. Very comfortable.

Needed milk and body wash.
