Silverwater Resort Phillip Island

Great location with wonderful views and a very pleasant grounds.

It’s a bit rundown and needs some refurbishment. Threadbare carpet in the room and very little in the way of guest essentials in the room. Some of the staff were not that helpful and most looked to be keeping busy doing other things other than helping guests.

Location, reception staff and facilities were excellent. Right close to the heart of Sam Remo. Huge apartments and clean rooms.

Firstly, check in time of 3 pm. Too late when the standard time in almost all hotels and resorts is 2 pm. To aggravate the situation, our apartment was ready at 5 pm, absolutely not acceptable. Only after asking did they extend the checkout time by 2 hours. Manager didn’t bother coming out of his cozy cabin to apologise to multiple guests who got their rooms late. Also, the outdoor pool water was not heated.

Room, restaurant, location, the view… all exceeded expectations.

the size of the apartment was decent. The kitchen was well equipped with sufficient amenities and cutlery. The BBQ area on the balcony was nice.

overall cleanliness of the apartment and outside balcony should be improved.

-We were staying in a group and would have liked access to a communal outside area with BBQ, tables etc. The apartment BBQs are small and meant everyone had to be inside an apartment. -Some sort of coffee machine or pods would have been nice -Very limited Wi-Fi and signal

The apartment is appalling. Mold, dirt, torn carpets, hair in shower and visible dirt everywhere. Honestly very surprised how bad this apartment was.
