Silverwater Resort Phillip Island

Not much. It was a below average stay

The location is poor - had to use the car to drive to shops, beaches, etc. The staff were rude and not helpful. The room was up a flight of stairs (that needed vacuuming) and was 400 metres away from the car park so had to drag luggage across the tennis courts and through the gardens. Furniture was uncomfortable and only had one small couch to sit on. Bed was sagging on each side and needed to be updated. Railing on the second story verandah was not attached at one end so was very unsafe. Breakfast food was okay but small number of staff couldn’t cope with supply and seating guests - empty bowls and dirty dishes everywhere.

Check in was 2pm however when we arrived we were informed our room was not ready and staff could not give us an estimated times it would be ready.

Amazing place & what fantastic staff - breakfast was a triumph following an all nite power outtage. They were such professionals & so kind to so many stressed out people!

The overall facilities looked good. Lots of things to do. Nice view over the lake. Restaurant meal was very nice

Our room was very dated. Needed new carpet, paint , bathroom needed an update especially the shower. Parking wasn't close to our room. Was disappointed as the rest of the facilities looked good. Roller blinds didn't cover the whole windows so very light first thing in the morning.

Can have some more indoor games like table tennis bowling etc

Location, outdoor pool and views were all superb.

There was a lack of proper sized cookware (pots and pans) in the apartment. Very difficult to cook pasta or a proper dinner for a family (my spouse and one son) with a small pan and frypan only in the apartment. There is an assumption that people will go out for dinner and not cook for themselves. I would reconsider booking here again due to how the poorly stocked the kitchen was.
