Sun Siyam Iru Fushi

We loved every moment of our stay. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and thoughtfully organised. The staff is super friendly and kind, and our butler Faahim made the experience even more special.

We had an amazing holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the island is stunningly beautiful. Everything we imagined and more. Faahim was our butler and looked after us very well. Gopal & Rakesh were fantastic bartenders and made top quality cocktails. They were also very friendly and chatted to us every time we visited the bar. Very good gym for a resort with a lot of weight machines and free weights. The water villa was out of this world, with an infinity pool, really cool seating area to watch the sunsets. Just 20m from our villa was a coral reef which I snorkelled every day. The entire island is paradise. Great beach bar called No Mistakes with a live DJ from 5-7 every evening to watch the sunsets. Mari was our cleaner and he did a fantastic job. Loved the turn down service and the messages left on the bed each morning, nice touch! All the staff we encountered were excellent, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food in all the restaurants was amazing. Top notch resort with such friendly staff.

We had the most amazing time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the island is stunningly beautiful. Everything I imagined and more. Faahim was our butler and looked after us very well. Gopal & Rakesh were amazing bartenders and made us the most beautiful cocktails. I did fantastic pilates classes with Tippu, who is a fantastic instructor. The spa is stunning and I had the most amazing facial. The infinity pool in the water villa was fabulous. Mari was our cleaner and he did a fantastic job. I particularly loved the turn down service and the beautiful messages left on the bed each morning. Fantastic snorkeling right from our water villa and also in Nemo park, very little swimming to get to the coral and the tropical fish. I could not complain about anything, everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations.

We booked 7 night’s at Iru fushi. we expected that the trip would surprise us, but this exceeded all limits of delight When we arrived in Malé, we were taken to the private Sun Siyam guest lounge, where we waited for the seaplane. The flight from Male to resort was 45 minutes long. We received an unexpected warm welcome. Our butler, Nasif, welcomed us and was responsible for our entire stay at the resort.The Butler was on our disposal throgout the day. If you needed help with anything, you could just send him a message and he would take care of it. The service was at a very high level, extremely kind and helpful. We must especially highlight two individuals, Bipin and Gopal. Bipin is a very professional waiter, while Gopal is an excellent cocktail master. Both of them truly made our stay special — always smiling, and by the end it was hard to say goodbye because they had become like friends to us. The best duo I’ve ever seen!!! The best experience of my life, a holiday to remember. At the end, it was very hard to say goodbye. But on the other hand, we weren’t sad — we were happy to have had the chance to enjoy such a beautiful environment and meet such wonderful people.

We are beyond satisfied with the resort — the cleanliness, tranquility, food, staff, and absolutely every detail exceeded our expectations. We spent seven unforgettable, truly magical days here. Our butler, Aalam, was always at our service — consistently kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Our deepest gratitude for his professionalism, subtle presence, and genuine care. Highest praise and warmest recommendations!

We had a wonderful vacation and amazing New Year’s celebration. Everything was absolutely perfect! The island, the food, stuff that is always smiling and helpful- especially Rasu at Reflections and Bipin at Iru restaurant. Our butler Nasif was also very helpful and approachable. We stayed at deluxe pool villa 238. Very specious and provided with everything we needed. Our villa attendant Saddam was outstanding. He went an extra mile and took extra care of us. He was always friendly and attentive. Our villa was always clean and spotless and he suprised us every day with wonderful decorations. He was the best! We will definitely return!

Iru Fushi is a beautiful island - it feels like paradise. It is relatively small but plenty to do. The Sun Siyam resort had thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We were met by Faahim who took us through everything we needed to know and then showed us to our over water villa which was spectacular. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The choice of restaurants was also good. A very relaxing holiday

Everything was perfect! Perfect Location, clean rooms, friendly staffs, great gala dinner, thoughtful service around the clock. Our butler has supported us for almost everything, for example, upgrade of our rooms, so we could enjoy our last days in water Villa. We are so grateful and happy! We will definitely recommend the resort and we will come back again.

This was our fourth return to Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, and once again it did not disappoint us. From the very first day, we were taken care of by our butler Hnin, who fulfilled all our wishes and desires. A big thank you to her for her professional approach, which made our stay in this beautiful place even more enjoyable. Every morning was made brighter by the always-smiling chef Min, whose excellent omelette gave us plenty of energy for days full of adventures. Waiter Harish continuously brightened our breakfasts with his constant smile and endless positive energy. I must also mention the wonderful head chef Nalaka, who was always happy to help and fulfilled my personal wish by preparing a Sri Lankan specialty for me — Kottu Roti, which was absolutely delicious. The entire Dive Centre team was also excellent and very helpful, and Zoe in particular made our diving adventures even more enjoyable. Honestly, the whole Sun Siyam Iru Fushi team was amazing, as always. All staff members were constantly smiling, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for their guests. We love coming back here, and we already know that we will return again to experience the renovated water villas. The management and the owner can be truly proud of such an outstanding and excellent team on the island. Thank you.❤️ I almost forgot to mention the young man who cleaned our room every day and always delighted us with his beautiful creations made from palm leaves. I don’t remember his name, but he was incredibly kind and sweet. Thanks to him, our room was always spotless and beautiful, and every day we were welcomed with a lovely little surprise.

This hotel & staff are perfection. We stayed 7 nights, on our honeymoon, in an Horizon Water Villa with our own pool. The accommodation, food & level of service is exceptional, and we would not hesitate to return to do it all again. Our butler, Ari, was fabulous. She was so efficient getting us organised with restaurants & special honeymoon treats & surprises, she was so lovely & gracious. Ari is a real credit to the hotel and we hope to see her again when we return. We have visited The Maldives numerous times, but Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is by far the best we have stayed at. Many thanks for a wonderful honeymoon & a lifetime of memories made. And a massive thank you to Ari for making it all so perfect.
