The view the room the food

I phone 3 times to make a booking and was told they were busy and would call back but they never did. Booked on line but we needed a disability room so called again to confirm. Once at the hotel the staff at the counter were very good to accomadate us. As the room had not been asigned. The area around the lift was cluttered with a large box making access for a disability scooter a bit of an obstacle course. Lots of very friendly staff who were very helpful. Many were still in training but trying to do their best

Staff were great, restaurant was great. Room was clean.

Rooms felt tired and run down. Air Con noisy, beds not very comfortable.

Fantastic location, short walk to the lakeside, church, restaurants. The only thing, and it seems common to hotels in Tekapo is there are no net curtains on the windows. We could see into everyone else's room, it was like Hitchcock's "Rear Window". Otherwise a great place to stop for the night.

Conveniently located in the centre of lake tekapo with lots of space in the rooms and friendly staff.

The property felt very dirty and run down. The bathrooms in particular felt very dirty and you could see soap scum and residue everywhere. The aircon/heater didn’t work and kept turning off. We paid for lake front views and all we could really see was signs and bushes from our room. There was so much street noise that the whole night all I heard was cars and trucks driving past. The beds were so uncomfortable, that I had the worst sleep in my whole stay while in New Zealand. Considering what we paid and what I thought we were rocking up to I was very disappointed.

Big rooms but scrappy condition. I hate two small beds put together as pretend double.

The thin walls, both night the neighbours were very loud.

Only seating for the bat service was part of reception area and the bar service was poor and staff very inexperienced
