Beautiful building in Beautiful surroundings. Rooms good but food average.

A hotel set in a wonderful landscape; the interior is that of a comfortable, clean, but slightly shabby home of the aristocracy. This makes for a very relaxing stay. Even the very generous car parking makes an immediate impression of relaxation: no formal lines or signs. In short: a tonic !

the room on arrival complained and got a electric heater put in room the hotel on the whole was very cold,the food was very poor my partner lamb shank was burnt almost to a cinder the staff had very attitude,the second night we had to dine out. Overall very poor

The hotel outside is great. Driving up the path looks amazing with the evening lights turned on. The downstairs reception area was ok. The problem is the rooms look tired. The pressure of the shower is weak. The room was cold ( single glazing). It was a birthday celebration which my daughter and I were there. We were terribly disappointed and unfortunately we will not be back.

We stayed here in late November 2022 and for £77.00 at that period, it was an absolute bargain including an excellent breakfast. The hotel rooms could use some major refurbishment but then the prices would probably be much higher. The building and massive grounds are magnificent and Broadway is only a few miles away. The staff were all very friendly and we look forward to retuning.

Lovely always . It’s a bit faded in places but the character of the place and staff more than make up . Big refurb planned I think , I really hope they don’t lose the character abd the fantastic service
