Dumbleton Hall Hotel

I booked the break for me & my partner with the view of a Downton moment & may I say it did not disappoint, after our ten years apart & this to be our first weekend away together, all it did was add to a wonderful reconciliation giving us an unforgettable time together in a wonderful surroundings, setting us up for our future to come. Thank you.

Excellent short stay at this hotel, would stay here again when in this area. Excellent views from hotel of the surrounding countryside.

It has a beautiful location and very peaceful. Lovely old building. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Dinner was of a reasonable quality but a very small menu choice only four options on each course though you could order from the bar menu but again limited. Some items were changed on the second evening but a wider standard menu would be better with just a couple of specials. This did not stop us from enjoying our stay and we would return again.

House , grounds and driveway are. Wry impressive / condition inside is not quite so good. Great location. Room was comfortable but not luxurious. Breakfast was good. Overall , good experience but place needs a little updating !

Dumbleton Hall is in a beautiful setting however our room was very tired and dirty with cobwebs and dirty old carpet. The breakfast was fine in itself however our cooked breakfast was brought to us while we were eating our cereal and the waitress stood over us so we had to rush to eat as there was no room on the table to leave our cooked breakfast. We were looking forward to breakfast but just felt it was so rushed which spoilt the experience.

Beautiful building and lovely staff. Just a very tired room , lumpy pillows and uncomfortable bed.
