Very good hotel .Staff is very good . Helping and cooperative . Housekeeping was Excellent .Aman & Tamang are excellent service.

Excellent stay here and amazing hospitality from the staff. Be it Ayush in housekeeping or Desraj Ji in the kitchen. Everything was perfect. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great service, great teams, Nice rooms and perfect location. Certainly the best accommodation during our trip in north india !

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den Himalaya bei schönem Wetter ist spektakulär. Das Personal ist ausgezeichnet, ganz besonders der Kellner Sajeef und der Chefkoch, der uns unseren ganzen Aufenthalt kulinarisch verwöhnte. Die Lage ist auch gut, man kann von dort aus ins Zentrum laufen. Man muss sagen, dass das Personal wirklich erstklassig und sehr bemüht ist, den Gast vollumfänglich zufriedenzustellen. So haben sie extra in unserem Zimmer für mich Haltestangen neben der Toilette angebracht. Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Personal. Die Betten sind bequem und die Zimmer mit allen bestens ausgestattet.

Allerdings ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und fuer ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist nicht behindertengerecht ausgestattet. Mit dem Rollstuhl kommt man nicht durch die Tür zur Terrasse. Der Toilettensitz wackelte und ging teilweise ganz ab. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, ist, dass das ganze Haus stark parfümiert ist, nicht wirklich gut für Allergiker. Außerdem wurde das Hotel während unseres Aufenthaltes von den vorherigen starken Regenfällen repariert und es wurde bis abends um 20:00 Uhr geklopft und gehämmert. Kerosingeruch, der von draußen herein strömte war nicht angenehm. Der Aufenthalt war nicht wirklich erholsam und insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. .

We stayed at the Grand Dragon hotel from 20th to 28th August 2025. Our experience from arrival to departure was exceptional. The staff were helpful, courteous and willing to go the extra step to ensure our stay was comfortable. The front desk staff, including Mr Majeed, were very polite, helpful and flexible to our change of plans. The dining staff in the restaurant, Himanshu, Gagan and Krishna were beyond helpful and provide advise on the food and locality issues. I cannot praise the all the staff enough, other then to say they made our stay memorable. Regards Ashok Kumar

The ambiance was magical, with candles, a garden, and a bonfire setting the perfect mood. The food was incredibly delicious! The staff were very supportive. I'm extremely grateful to Executive Chef Desraj Punia, Chef Vishal Singh Negi, and F&B Manager Sunny for creating unforgettable memories.

All good service and place

Convenient location within walking distance of the city centre and great views of the mountains. Excellent hospitality with welcoming, attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant offers an extensive array of delicious food to suit every pallet. The bedroom was very comfortable and room service was very efficient. Overall one of the best hotels we have stayed anywhere in the world.
