I WAS ON A MOTOR BIKE TOUR FOR 10 DAYS SO GREAT TO HAVE AS TIDY, CLEAN ROOM AND A HOT SHOWER

IT WAS ALL GOOD

We depart Leh today, very sad to leave The Grand Dragon. This is a beautiful hotel, elegant and very comfortable. All service was impeccable and the staff welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed traditional Ladakhi foods as well as a broad range of very well executed northern and southern Indian dishes. A special shout out to Himanshu and Sunil in the dining room for their great care and warmth.

Perfect location and very close to the airport And staff is very kind and nice always helpful

Heating in my room wasn’t working and maintenance guys checked twice and told us its gonna work now but after 15-20mins it was same issue so we gave up to keep calling them but everything else was perfect..

Outstanding hospitality and impeccable service. Beautiful room, clean and well equipped. Half board is both delicious and convenient. Kind manager upgrade me to a suite for one night when I return from a road trip.

We were at Grand Dragon Sept 23-30’25, week when Leh saw biggest protest and life loss and curfew following all the unrest. We are glad we made it to Grand Dragon as being cooped up in the hotel, we were able to still spend time comfortably with low risk. Special shout out to few people who made our stay extremely easy given we could not go out : - Deshraj Punia the head chef , not just the food, spread at breakfast buffet but his personal attention to each table was unique . He made sure we tried different dishes as he discussed them with us. He was there covering Dosa counter, omelette counter , walking the dining room, sending Gajar halwa, beetroot halwa etc our way. Highlight for us was the Roganjosh and Lahsuni saag by his Kashmiri and Uttarakhand chefs - Rajiv, Hossian and Rajat From coffee to hot rotis, puris, to recommending us to try Mutton momo to getting us latest outside news , you 3 made it again very easy for us to spend the 6 days at the hotel. Hotel is clean, has decent spa (I did give in and go for massage while waiting out the curfew) If I am back in Leh, Grand Dragon If you stay at this hotel, take a note of the paintings around and ask for who is Mostafa and may be you can meet the artist. Hotel is walking

A minor note -they do not serve alcohol in the restaurant . If you are someone looking for beer or wine .

Gate to heaven , wonderful experience for our total of four nights stay with repeat stay after visiting Nurla and Nubra Valley , in Grand Dragon hotel in Leh , Everything was perfect , Elegant hotel with pleasant Mountain View and colourful garden. Free WiFi , five star service, spacious room, soft bed, abundant of hot and cold water in shower , room tea and coffee making facility, Food excellent , efficient service , fine dining sittings, innumerable choices in break fast and dinner , the chefs frequently examined the hot pots and filling in abundant supply constantly. The service people all extremely polite and helpful, we noticed all were enjoying their work in such excellent atmosphere. Hotel Manager a local lady ,master degree holder from Delhi University ,very intellectual and with heavenly decent manners. Noticed arrangement of high tea every afternoon with different kinds of tea ,coffee and snacks ,pastries and biscuits in abundance. Enjoyed sitting in comfortable chairs with my warm espresso coffee and looking at the mountains , don’t get such opportunity often. One day during our stay Indian National Flag was hoisted ceremonially, because that was 15 August, my late father who left his medical study and a bright future for cause of independence and spent twelve years in colonial jail, my late mother similarly spent a year in colonial jail when she was mere twelve years old, 15 August is very special day for us. When we eventually leaving this heavenly retreat ,one gentleman came asked if the room was tidy, he was very decent ,we of course replied everything was of five star standard ,he identified himself as Ayush. We did not carry pen and note book to write all names ,but everybody everywhere were very efficient and exceeding nice . We felt very sad when left , Wish all the best for the hotel and its staffs .
