Best Western Plus Chena River Lodge

When we got into our room it was 80 degrees. Despite turning on the fan, it kept blowing hot air. We told the front desk, got a fan and said the engineer would come to look at it. So, we opened the window as a solution.

Room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Woman who checked us in was very aloof and not at all friendly.

The room was larger than I expected, and the bed was comfortable. However, when I first entered the room, there was an odor to it. The thermostat wasn't working but the window that was able to open made it bearable because it got too warm at times. Having a microwave and small frig was a huge plus! All in all a great experience. I would stay there again.

When I checked in the room was dirty. It had someone else’s nachos on the desk and the soaps had been opened and used and a towel was used by the sink. I let the front desk know but they didn’t really care.

The elevator was broken

The lodge was clean. But, nothing worse than coming back to the hotel after dinner and a long day to find really bad bad television with no option to hook up your own media. No movies, only food network, reality shows, sitcoms or cartoons. The coffee machine was broken 50% of the time. Breakfast was AWFUL although Bernie in the breakfast area bent over backwards to try to make things better. I would choose better next time.
