NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort

The location

No where was mentioned that the lagoon rooms are not in the main building and that there are NO elevators. Wheen we,arrived the receptionist told us that we reserved a room with no view and she upgrade us to a room with a view. We were pleased about it and than we were directed to the Golf club car to take us to the room. We were disappointed that we are not in the main building but she said thatvthere are no rooms available. When we reached the Golf club car the driver when he saw us he said the the room is on the 3rd. Floor, we said ok and only then he told are that there are no elevators!! My husband is 86 years old and I am only 78.. we returned to the reception where after explaining again and again that staying on the 3rd. Floor is just IMPOSSIBLE for my husband, the receptionist , after several ling conversations came back to us with a solution. She upgraded us to a suit only on the 2nd. Floor. We understood that there is nothing that we can do at this stage so we took it. The staires were were steep so even to go down created a problem. A suit it wasn't as you will see on the pictures, emptu big leaving room, not one picture a d no furniture under TV in the bedroom.

The place was awesome, location is perfect since everything u need is nearby. Getting to the rooms, the rooms were very clean and well presented, appreciate all the facilities. The pool was maintained and very clean. The staff response and interaction was very good. Food was awesome. Overall the experience was awesome

Great staff. Lovely big hotel in a safe gated community. Nice pool too.

As you can see from the picture my room had cobwebs so I’m not sure how often it gets cleaned. Also, the wifi is non existent. Literally doesn’t work anywhere any time. I went through lots of phone data whilst staying at this hotel.

The hotel has 2 wings, one in the msin building the other in the Marina 6 mints walking time from the main building. The hotel provides transportation usualy not too long to wait, however once we had to wait outside the building for 20 mnts. The rooms in the Mrina wing has "NO" elevators!!! This is NOT mentioned!!! (both the fact that the rooms are not in the main building and that there are no elevators!! There are No hand or face towels in the rooms. Dinning room give the impression of a 3-4 star hotel. Definitely not of a 5*

We were staying in a near by apartment and ate here on three occasions - twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Prices are reasonable. Our dinners were fine. Good sized serves and quite tasty. Service is friendly and good. The buffet is quite acceptable for a hotel of this standard. The buffet caters for western, Indian and Thai palates, and any place that has an egg station lifts a notch immediately - my omelette was quite delicious.
