Budget Inn - Troy

Loud TV next door in the office. Had to cal to get it turned down so I could sleep. Played 24 hours a day. LOUD

It was decent room was clean. Bed was hard and bedspread had burn holes in it.

For under 50$ awesome. The revue I gave wouldn't indicate that. I will stay again. CHEAP

In a low income area but I had no issues. It was quiet and convenient - and cheap!

You get what you pay for, but barely. We wanted to check in early if possible. The man who answered the phone said he didn't even know we were coming! After convincing him I had a confirmation number, he checked again and saw I was indeed on the schedule. Then, proceeded to tell me that we must wait until 2 to check in because of housekeeping. Waited until 2 and checked in at what was the scariest "check-in window" I've ever stood at. Felt like a shady deal in a bad movie. Get into the room to see the furniture was dusty & mirrors smudged/streaked. So much for waiting on housekeeping! Luckily, we planned on barely being at the room & just sleeping there. Overall, if you plan on physically being in the room only to sleep & change- this is your cheap spot.

One level rooms. Closeness to shopping and resturaunts

Out of necessity we stopped here. This was during the pandemic. The nightstand was filthy with drink rings and smudges. When I used Lysol wipes on every surface I could think of they were brown after one swipe on the chair arms and tables. No we won’t be staying here again.

The room was clean and pleasant and comfortable to stay in. In the bath/shower, the cold setting was actually hot and the hot setting was actually cold. The remote would not turn of the TV so I had to unplug it.

For a budget property it has value. I've seen much worse recently for a higher price.

Good management, very quiet, but didn't have much to do in the area
