The location.

This hotel needs love! The property is visibly run down everywhere. Our room had water damage on the ceiling, paint chips along every wall, and stained furniture. The pool area deck is made of worn down wood that is warped, the pool is unheated (which is typical for the city). The water in the shower didn’t get very hot. One of the best features of this hotel is the outdoor tub, but the water doesn’t stay warm long enough to fill it. For $250 a night I expected more.

The hotel is in a great location and is very unique. It has great bones but needs some serious work. The whole place is in need of serious cleaning and updating. The hotel and furnishings had a general worn and dirty feel. The furniture on the rooftop bar was stained/soiled and ripped. To make matters worse, am item was taken from my room and the hotel would not do anything so I was not able to submit a claim to my insurance company. If you are a BONVOY member BEWARE!!! It's been almost two months since my stay and I still have not received credit for my stay. I have called at lease 10 times AND emailed several times to no avail. Greatly disappointed by this property and its leadership.

Good choice and as breakfast was included we were very happy.

Would have been nicer to have had a heated pool with some sunshine to sunbathe as this was in the shade....

It is in a good location and the hotel is well maintained. The breakfasts that you can include with the reservation are OUTSTANDING! Wait staff is excellent. Food at dinner is average and for the price disappointing. Be sure and bring complete documentation of the room you paid for and reserved. They will try and put you in the least expensive room. I paid for and reserved a poolside room and was assigned a small room on the second floor. If I had not had proof they never would have honored the expensive room reservation.
